    yes watch that the rspca was bang out of order and they ahving admitted responability for the killing of a goldeneagle ,but they sharp on your case for a complaint about the upkeep of your animals,fcuking hipercrits i agree, as a falconer the upkeep of our birds is the most important thing and if so called experts took my bird and fed it led shot rabbits i dont know what i'd do

    got some chickens today, the idea is that they will be hatching some quail, partridge and pheasant eggs if i can get them cheap. any one care to tell me the exact species? i know/think the white one is a silkie. and apparently the others are wyondottes and pekins.

    i may be wrong, but have you meant to put the episode regarding roy lupton, and the golden eagle he was rehabilitating being took off him?

    here is a picture of their quarters (is it a run or coop?) it is basically a ferret run that has been modified for more room and rat prevention.

    yeah the only place near me that sells them is a pet shop. they charge £2.50 for 25 day old chicks, which is dear considering i pay £12.50 for 500! where abouts are you?

    i would rather breed them, they work out at about £20 for 25 quail (dead) but £15 for 3 (alive) and i could breed more than 25 a year

    im a falconer and i fly a gyr x saker and a female harris hawk. i intend to buy some quail this weekend to breed and when the chicks are grown they will be killed and used as food for my hawks. no i know quail are bad parents and i have no intentions of buying an incubator, instead, according to my dad, a bantam will hatch them. so here are my questions; 1. is he right? 2. how much should i expect to pay for a bantam? 3. any tips? my dad has kept chickens before so im not just buying something without experience (falconers frown on that sort of thing) thankyou in advance

    i went on the severn last week, 11 barbel and a bleak, lost 5. i fished swim-feeder and 2 massive pellets or 1 pellet topped off with 1 cell boilie. my mate fished the next swim and caught nothing it was the best days fishing ive ever had

    my hawk spend the moult freelofted, so when gear is on it i dont see the point in given it another 2 weeks. start manning straight away

    i wrote a complaint to ITV (i was bored) basically complaining that the plod said hunting mammals was illegal. i said this will waste police time when lads are spotted rabbiting or ratting and in-turn tax payers money.

    anybody else realise the plod said "coursing mammals is illegal". sure rabbits are mammals might be worth writing in i know quite a few did when country file said catching rabbits with dogs was illegal...

    very nice pal, although you shoot and fish, could you not do some other columns. ferreting, running dogs, falconry, terriers etc. you would attract a much greater fan-base.
