    i agree with eskdale, i hood my gyr x saker and my harris, my harris is scared of cars and streetlights and in the winter it's usually dark when coming home and in-turn there are streetlights so the hood is beneficial. i too have never heard a bad reason for hooding a harris

    to be honest, its not nearly as bad as it is stereotyped to be. we dont like the c***s who take the piss because i believe our crime rate is less than that of edinburgh, manchester, london and all the other shitholes you will love it here lurcher1, the people are friendly, the shops are great and the birds are boss

    very nice, how much do you charge? personally i just use a small file for the spike

    im not saying go out and buy one, but! theyre not the hardest bird to train, will set you back around £300. but all in all the equiptment, aviary, and a suitable training course will put you well in excess of £1000

    yes! very much so. the most common would be to feed bead and cast a bread looking fly onto the surface, or dog biscuit and throw dog biscuit looking flies on. but i remember seeing normal flies catching them in the sea angler magazine. hope this helps

    as i say, im sorry if this has been asked before but i only visit the section rarely. anyway, im planning a trip to scotland to fly my hawks later in the year and the estates that will allow me to fly my hawks offer deer stalking and i was considering having a go. i will be 17 at the time and was wondering what the law is? i would be borrowing a rifle etc. and will be accompanied by the ghillie / stalker (i dont know what you call them) so my question is, do i need a FAC or am i allright as i would be lending the rifle? if i cant i wont really be bothered as i will stalk them anyway, rifle fre

    Any information as to the whereabouts of a Black Labrador who went missing on the Saturday at The Game Fair, cash reward for information that leads to her safe return. She is desperately missed. She is 15 months old, medium build, timid in nature. She is chipped but no collar. She went missing from Gunmakers Row at approx. 2.00pm on the Sat. there was a lost lab at the cla gamefair, i hope the family get it back...
