  2. Hi all, after recently passing my driving test, i am now looking to increase my perch pb. They are my favourite fish and im looking for a venue in north west UK, preferably Merseyside, that holds BIG perch...
  3. Never met one whilst flying, have when I've been out with air rifle though. He called the police and sat about 50yards away from me for about an hour before he realised they weren't coming, i always let the police know if im going to be shooting, stops them bothering me, and makes the anti's look like tools when they are watching you shooting rabbits from 50 yards away. (for anyone interested, he was 50 odd, had a shitzu and had a story 'someone was shot on this land when a pellet ricochet of the floor, you should be ashamed of yourself')
  4. sorted, i signed the car over to my mum and she's put me as a named driver, dropped to 3000
  5. seriously, i've no convictions or anything like that. apparently they wont do third party fire and theft as the cars worth more than £6000. Apparently my insurance will go down when im 21, any time before that they quote high :/
  6. its me who passed, Adrian Flux refused to quote me as it exceeded their £10,000 limit its a 11 plate corsa
  7. anyone know of somewhere willing to give me a decent quote? 17 year old, passed today and theyre all over £10,000. i've got a 1.2 corsa. Also, heard classic car insurance can be alot cheaper, so does anyone have experience with this and say, a land rover defender?

  14. just been offered a HW99s for £110, your thoughts????
  15. Im sorry as im sure you lot get this all the time. This morning there was 7 magpies in my garden and upon raising my awful air rifle, i realised the iron sites are off (SMK B2). so i am now looking for idea on a new air rifle upto £150 (no more). i know im not going to get anything special for that price, but its litteraly for magpies in the garden..
  16. There is a fishery in Newton-le-willows that has 3 lakes, 2 trout and 1 mixed, sounds ideal for him, cant remember the name of it sorry, Woodhouse i think its a day ticket water aswell
  17. Being a broad wing, they are capable of soaring, if that's what you want to do, then you do it. There is however no need, but also no harm in doing it. Off the fist, a red tail will have a very successful season, i cant really comment in regards to soaring, but i would think you will catch quarry from flights you would not normally, but you may lose out on a lot, i.e. rabbits sat by warrens will see the bird and go in the warren. Its entirely up to you, benefits to both methods so its your decision, i have fancied trying similar with a Harris, but instead of kite training flying from the top o
  18. When the post was started, he was believed to have quit. But congratulations on knowing the truth
  19. Apparently Steve Clark has also left out of respect for Dalglish.
  20. Liverpool should not sign Martinez, Rodgers etc. they need the biggest name they can attract to get back where we belong! Guardiola, Mourinho (probably neither of them will). A manager i would love, is the man that created Barca, Rijkaard. But i think they will look for a manager who can work on limited funding, Martinez etc. and if they do, the Swansea manager is a manager i would want if cheap is the only way.
  21. I truthfully want Benitez back. People are saying Guardiola, but we have no chance of getting him for one, he left Barcelona to take a break from football so he wont take a job in the near future anyway. I dont get how people are saying he's proved himself as a manager, when he inherited the team from Frank Rijkaard.
  22. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18073446
  23. Benitez is the ONLY man for the job! with limited funding, he brought in 2 players who went on to be great in their own right (Alonso and Mascherano) and then signed Torres who was the best stiker Liverpool had had in years. With the money that would be available to him now, he'd be good...
  24. ive fished princess and a fella caught a jack on pole (took a roach he caught). my mate lives on sylvester street and whenever i've been fishing there, theres been trouble. just not somewhere i would camp lol.
