airgun clubs south wales

Hi There is a club in Tondu, but I have not been there myself -
Hi There are a lot of strange things out there. A mate of mine told me a few years ago that he saw whilst he was out on his mountain bike on a forestry path near Maesteg (south Wales) what he described as a small bear, it was standing up on its back legs and when it saw him, it dropped down onto all fours and walked into the forest. Ok I know it sounds crazy, but I believed him.

Hi If you only going to use it occasionally then why not buy a used shotgun? if you have a look around you can pick them up very cheap. There are plenty of cheap, good quality guns about, I was offered a SBS magnum last week for just £50. I bought a Miroko SBS 2 years ago (like new condition) for just £150. Although I have not used an escort semi auto myself, they look ok and they take a 31/2 cartridge. A friend I was shooting with last week has one. He does a lot of shooting (mainly pigeons, crows & wildfowl) he just did a part ex on his old one for another new one and loves the

Thinking of buying a new shotgun
Welshwildfowler replied to Welshwildfowler's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
South and West Country Sports, have not been there yet, I read a few threads and I read you singing the praises. I was out shooting on Saturday and the guys were taking about them all good stuff, so I will pop down there and have a look. Keens are going to lose a lot of business I think. Just a note on keens, I was starting to think it was just me, but they do ignore people! they just walk right past you and I dont know why, I am a good customer I spend about a £1000 there every year. -
Hi I have a jack pike bag it looks the part, but that's it, not a very good design when it rain!

Hi I like the look of the beretta, although I have only seen it on the internet, I read somewhere that its regarded as one of the best guns of all time? never had a beretta, but everything I read about them says excellent, reliable last a lifetime etc Alan -
Hi I am thinking of buying a new (used) 12g shotgun, or might treat myself to a new one. I currently have 2 12g SBS, a Miroko and a nice English SBS both 23/4 chamber. I want it primarily want it for wildfowling so I would like one that will take a 3 - 31/2 magnum. I want either an O/U or semi auto, not to sure if I want a pump, but I have been just been doing internet search and I quite fancy a beretta xtrema Any thoughts? Alan
