  1. looks a nice bit of kit, ive always rated edgar brothers scopes i suppose only time will tell if these are as good and reliable. seems it has a few well thought out developments applied to its manufacture. im not keen on the black tactical look though myself im a wood man
  2. that was brilliant the tesco value scope. i must admit our family have boycotted them too as theyre just taking the piss im scared one day it will be just tescos everywhere and we all go like drones into them get outr stuff and go back home theres loads of quirky food shops round our way that have closed down now. they used to each have there own special little products that you wont get in big supermarkets its a shame
  3. reading some of the comments on the vids on there it would seem a lot of people regularly take pretty insane shots at rabbits i suppose they maybe children or something seems pretty dodgy to me to take a shot at 50+ let alone 100+ i cant believe the pellet would have the power to penetrate at that range. is there a way of working out the ft/lb after travelling 100 yard?
  4. yeah i occasionally shoot at telegraph pols from massive distances just to see how long it takes the pellet to reach it (i get bored easily ) definatly is a pretty long delay when at distances like that
  5. nice one, i havent got one but knowing daystate the quality will be spot on. im on the other side of the fence with a mk1 rapid happy hunting with it mate
  6. you want a stirrup pump mate the 3 stage ones are meant to be the dogs these days. or if you dont use it much get it filled at a dive centre they should charge about £1 to fill that. i get charged £3 to fill my 12litre 300 bar up
  7. its meant to be the ultimate hunting cal from what ive heard. i had one for a very short time. ive got 6 tins of bisley .20 left if anyone want to buy em?
  8. you could do with a price mate or the ebay number for people to go to
  9. sounds like a result finally mate well done! ive got a hw97kt too! beautiful guns! happy hunting mate
  10. oh and i personally think co2 guns are rubbish stick with your pcp idea mate thats a winner
  11. if you want lightweight i would steer away from weihrauch theyre built like tanks i love them but they are heafty. is it a springer youre after or a pcp? you can pick up s200's for around £220 same as bsa ultras these are both very lightweight and good guns but pcp. if its springers youre after id suggest a bsa supersport, theyre very light and reliable. thats the only light springer ive ever had all the rest have been weihrauchs
  12. theres a 6-24 the bottom one, that might be worth a look
  13. ah just looked theyre 8-32! bigger than mine, mines a 16 im fairly certain. 32 is crazy i doubt youd want that!
  14. ive got an old japanese made tasco thats pretty nice but ive been using an edgar brothers optimate only goes to 16x if i remember right but it cost me £60 and is very very clear and excellent all round well chuffed with it. theyre worth a look. you can get the factory refurbished for £69 off.... hang on i cant remember ill search... these guys: http://www.swillingtonshootingsupplies.co.uk exactly your budget maybe worth a thought good luck whatever you end up with
  15. welcome mate, i'd say i enjoy using my s400k the most it seems to always be the one i grab when im heading out. i loved my hw90k though a hell of a lot i wish id never sold it really. but it was just too loud!
  16. got to admit i shoot crows in the body sometimes i try for head but sometimes its further than i realise and it drops and hits body ive had one fly off before felt a bit brutal but the do cause a right pain on the farm so i try to shoot as many as i get chance too. agree if head shot is available always go for it. and 74 quid! that is a f*****g joke wonder if any mugs brought them
  17. ive never counted them would probably weigh say ten and then weigh it all and work it out but to be houesnt itd never come to that. but if they were shy by a good load id complain for sure might get a few free tns if you wrote to the actual maker. i did that with some tobacco once just to see if itd work and got 50g sent to me and an apology. (the packet was torn down the side when i brought it lol right blag that was figured they owed me that much as they'll probably play a large part in my death!)
  18. sorry mate i didnt mean to have a go at all thats top notch knowing 4 languages im pig ignorant and only know english im afraid and a very very little amount of german good luck with sale great great weapon ive got the .22 version
  19. is that manuel from faulty towers?
  20. that was exactly my point too. they only have one litter a year and live abover ground they really arnt a pest. i have shot about 20 in my life and that was when i was a child and didnt know better. now i leave them well alone. theyre nice creatures and like said theres plenty of a rabbits. if someone wants to course them for a bit of sport then fair enough and if someone wants to shoot them then fair enough, i just won't be doing either
