  1. CROW YOU FOOL............ drop the number of pain killers your on. read the title again
  2. i had a bit of grit get in the charging port, all the air seeped out over night. blew it out and pumped it by hand and it was fine.
  3. when you see the leading edge on a net started in this way you will see why netrigger starts it in that way, nice and clean and with a straight edge.
  4. sorry to hear about your ferrets teejay have a look under the thread, what a start and see if the symptoms, if any where the same
  5. Call me a perv but i love checking big juicy ones
  6. the reason you get two differant size berrys is a mix or sun the water thats being held in the soil around the blackthorn bush. the smaller harder berrys will taste just fine and the burst ones are as you say, over ripe. not wanting to shock any of you but how many of you checked each sloe for a small hole? these ones should be binned as its the enterance hole of an insect that lays its eggs inside the sloe. get these in the gin and it will spoil. those of you that have the grubs growing inside your sloes i have one piece of advise............... treat it like having a worm in your te

  11. Dont get many of those to the lb......sorry, 0.45kg
  12. come on lads, this is turning into a lynch mob ok his story may be a bit far fetched but is it any wonder the youngsters that come into sports such as ours feel thay have to impress, especially when they have proberbly heard tails of the much fabled 100 rabbits a night dog and such like? Im sure if were all honest to ourselves, we have at one time or other streched the truth of our outings? hell theres writers of books that have made a bloody good living out of telling tall tails. And before anyone starts to rip me a new a**e hole, no i dont know him, no i dont realy care
  13. just about to zero it in now for tonights outing, see how it goes
  14. your neddles are on there way as we speak
  15. i think he meens the net running lines ferret1 ive sent you a PM
  16. SCUBA 1.... shooting it off the Bi-pod im able to hit 5pence pieces at 65plus yrds with the rifle running at 22ft lbs, and thats with my old scope with a max of 9x mag. seeing as a lot of my air rifle shooting is done from a static postion off the Bi-pod, i feel that the extra magnification will gaurantee a nice clean head shoot each and every time. of course a mag of 16x would be more hassle than its worth if i was walking up on my targets but also i look at it this way. if the build quality is such that at 16x mag it gives you very clean and clear optics ,i feel the optic quality at the less
  17. yep its the same here on the norfolk suffolk borders. been out twice this last 3 nights and i would say % of what i shot or netted were full of mixi

  19. now i cant give away all my secrets can I ? thats where the yeast starter comes into play can start or stop fermetation as you wish, to a cetain degree of course.
  20. Paul.......... the yeast in all fruit needs suger to feed on to turn it into alcohol, the sloes, same as when cooked, produce a naural sweetner which takes away the tartness of the fruit. it is an enzime in the skins that does this, it is also the colour in the skins that gives it its nice pink colour. Its because of its abillitie to produce its own suger that its adviserble to buy un-sweetened gin for making sloe gin. otherwise it will be sickly sweet.
  21. very good i dont bother with banks, seeing as i have no money whats the point?
  22. Perhaps with this information we can see why the usa hasnt been in to much of a hurry to leave Iraq. Nice and handy that a waring nation already has massed troops on the ground, as well as all its supplys that would be needed to fight a war on this scale, just the other side of the border. I cant remember what it was that was in the news about 3 months ago but i was watching the news and i said to my wife, ""oh here we go, the USA will be fighting in Iran soon"" Like OTC said, they are a fighting nation, they have allways been that way and their wars arnt guieded by laws an rules o
  23. Mapreader as Bob Dylon once sang "" How many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man ?"" Me, im still trying to find that one out:whistling:
