that last fight where the crowd start on each other reminds me of a day i was stood at the back of a farm in cambridge working seconds for a fellow when it all went a little tits up. ended the day looking down the wrong end of a sawn off 12gage you see some good fights on ytube but alot are hand bags at 10 paces, best fights i saw were the fore runners to the mma stuff you see now, the old vale tudo fights from back in the 80s are much more brutal but also a lot more tecnqual.

Is snaring/Trapping Humane?

why should asking a question like the above one be met with such an answer? surely as sportsman the animals welfare and human death regarding method should be one we ask ourselves each and ever time we venture into the fields ? And as for asking questions isnt that how we learn prior to going out and finding out for ourselves? It takes a brave man to ask such a question as was asked knowing fullwell it will be met with a certian amount of harshness ans possible acusations and even the all to common which hunt that seems to be getting more common on here. -

for a fox net i would use a 3inch mesh gage starting at 10mesh on the ring and take it out to 16 mesh wide. to get the 6ft in length make the net 24 mesh long with the 3inch gage.

Maty J insted of adding just one mesh add one at each end and this will give you a longer body to the net. what i meen is this. for a rabbit net i use a 2.1/8 inch mesh gage 1st row = 8meshes 2nd row = 8 meshes 3rd row = 10 meshes 4th row =12 meshes 5th row = 14meshes 6th row = 16 meshes i then carry on at 16meshes till i reach the 16th row. 17th row = 14 meshes 18th row = 12meshes 19th row = 10meshes 20th row = 8meshes 21st row = 8meshes doing it this way with this size mesh gage gives you a nice shaped 4ft rabbit net with a longer area of the wider part of

to make a shaped net is easy. on the second row as you make the first and last mesh(loop) around your gage DONT REMOVE THE GAGE. go around the board again and back through the last mesh as before., this will add another loop. this will make the second row 10 meshes wide. just keep adding the 2 extra meshes till you get your requiered amount of meshes. to take in the meshes simply pick up 2 meshes instead of 1 at each end and do this on each row till you come back down to 8.

sounds like the vets being an arse. i had to take my lurcher to the vets out of hours after a lamping accident. it wasnt my vets and i told the vet before hand i wouldn have enough cash to pay the bill in full. i was told as long as i made a payment on picking up the dog and agreed to pay the rest in instalments that would be ok. i would suggest you offer to pay something as you pick up the dog and arrange a payment plan, explain the situation and like has been said contact the pdsa and try to work something out. if the vets refuse than its a case of the vet putting cash reward before anim

In some cases im sure thats true, in others such as mine its for other reasons of which both I and simon know the reasons why.
