  1. butter is made from cream and a bit of salt, 100% natural.
  2. it was invented by the germans...........margarine also contains amf, which is just melted butter with the water removed....................speaking of plastic ever wondered [bANNED TEXT] buttons and pool balls are made of?..milk, or casien which is a milk byproduct.............i work in a butter plant as an analyts and we make anchor butter for the uk market
  3. mine see game as soon as they have had there shots. but they are limited to the amount of walking you should expect of them. all play is good.
  4. sorry bullmastiff, i don't make dvd's or right books, but loud noises and bangs are part of a pups life if he is gonna be a gundog, it's usallay started as they are weaned by making alot of noise when they are eating etc. by eight months i would expect a average pup to be 1/2 trained for wotever job he's been bred for but thats just me.

    Quads

we have three 500 honda's 2006 models. they get rolled, bowled and arseholed everyday on our steep hill hill country farm and don't miss a beat. 400 foremans are great machines as well. the suzuki's in the bigger engines have res performance but don't have the honda's handling and are hungry on petrol, yammies and kawa's are shit, in nz the honda is king, something like 8 in ten bikes is a honda, and have the most quads per population anywhere in the world.
  6. me and your mate would get on great where in the dog book does it say start a pup at 10 months, start "your" pup when you think it's ready to be exposed to wots gonna be a big part of it's life, at 14 weeks is about when all my pups will be walking in the bush and getting shots put over them as part of passive training, and it's great fun for the owner to watch the little guy deal with things as they come up too i might add, part of forming a bond with your dog, teaching the basic's as well as a bit of game sniffing and water training is never gonna harm the pup. my pigdog pups are following
  7. apart from hunting sambar deer which has a min cal due to there size, you can use a 223 for deer the only requirement for hunting on public land is a permit, which is free and a centerfire cal must be used, so .22 hornets and .222 up are popular deer cals over here, sadly deer on the public domain are classed as pests, our govt department in charge of looking after the land has just bought 30000 rounds of .223 and is planning on sending the choppers up to cull the numbers of deer, chamois and himalayan thar. lucky we have as much land tied up in private ownership or in maori trusts so there are
  8. fill out a form, provide two people to vouch for you, one must be related, sit through a mountain saftey course and firearms safety course, held once a month in most towns, pay ya hundred odd dollars and after buying a safe and an arms officer visit to check it out and ask a few strange questions ya get ya firearms lisence in the mail you are then able to buy as many rifles and shotguns that you can fit in your safe, once that safe is full you must then buy another safe before getting anymore guns in other words if you have no convictions and are not a headcase it is easy to own and use fir

    N.Z HUNTING

not doing much in the way of pighunting at the moment, but will see [bANNED TEXT] i'm up too mate, hook ya up with some goats.
  13. shit do they have that many rabbits around brisbane?
  14. :11: i feel for ya lost mate, but please don't call it a boar attack,as you where hunting boar the term self defence springs to mind. tough break all the same.
  15. gotta agree although my one is not exactly small, but she goes when the rifle goes g ood shooting mate
  16. [bANNED TEXT] part of aussie are you going? and not a big hassle to keep two packs.
  17. ya need to ask ya self [bANNED TEXT] do you want stabs a pigdog or a lurcher, a lurcher can sort of do both but a pigdog is not expected to chase anything but pigs. or are you thinking of a dog that can be used over the gun?
  18. bit more info stabs? you want this beast to catch pigs and foxes and rabbits/hares?
  19. :11: you would have to be starving to wanna chew on some old billy goat mate, yes i have killed the odd goat, thousands in fact, same with cattle {i am a butcher, have been since i left school at 14} the reason we denacker male animals is to get rid of that tainted male smell and let them fatten up better. a boar that has been hogging his nuts off all nite is gonna taste a bit strong compared to one that hasn't trust me. as a matter of course i remove them, some guys don't simple. a nice young billy or nanny killed before it is sexually mature or mated is bloody good eating, note the sweetbread
  20. yeah i'll jump in here boys :11: first up and this is most important, stick the pig, even if ya shot it, move fast as they bleed out better if this is done right away, the heart can still beat for a while after a head shot so the sooner the better, this will give you better pork. if you are able to get the dead boar to a scolding tub within half an hour great scold it like a tame pig, gutting after it has been scapped clean, in most cases this is not possible so you can as mentioned singe it off with a blowtorch and a blade, smelly and hot work but it gets the job done, just don't over do the
  21. just use ya 243 mate, that big pig was dropped by a 6mm, head shots on the bigger pigs will give you a dead pig everytime
  22. the 243 is the min i would use, in saying that it is perfectly up to the job with the correct bullet, 100gr corlokt would be good or norma 100gr. this is for general control if you are only shooting big boars 308-3006 with 150-180 softpoints is the min i would use, having to buy another rifle just to shoot boar is not really needed if you can hold ya normal deerstalking rifle steady enough, it's not often a boar will charge you unless you are hunting them with dogs, sows get a bit toey if they have little ones though.
