Hi, you've read the maximum possible muzzle velocities on the BSA website, if you scroll to the bottom of their page, you'll see that guns are supplied to conform to the laws of the country of destination, in the case of UK, that's 570 fps for this gun. If you check this link, you'll see the specifications for the UK market. http://www.airshooter.co.uk/acatalog/BSA.html This isn't criticism, I'm just trying to be helpful.

I paid for the gun as advertised - rifle with scope and pump - I was sent the rifle and pump, the pump was damaged, and the scope wasn't there. Just a warning to others to avoid Whippet boy AKA Darren Bridges of Belper.
