  1. was going to say looks an older bitch , but dont let that stop you , keeping her in top condition and fitness up , there is no doubt to her working abilities .. good luck with her .... thats why i want to breed this bitch to keep the blood and hopefully the offspring will have some of her qualities. its just finding the right stud when the time is right.
  2. i was told about 4, her teeth are in good condition so i would say she around 4 or 5 years old, and i have no reason to doubt the guy i bought her from, shes got a bit of grey around her face but, she seems fine after a few nights lamping and not sore at all, am hoping if she proves her self over the next year, i will be breeding from her, to keep a few pups back, as what ive seen of her so far, am very impressed, and i would love to keep the blood from this bitch.

    house training

the best way i think is to have a crate, as its a good way the house train, and if used right the dog will look at it as it own space, as soon as you see the pup going to have a pee pick the pup up and take outside, and loads of praising when he/she pee's outside and take the pup to one spot, all the time... try to keep the door open most of the time, and he/she will start to go on her/he's own . and if the pup piss's in the house give it a "bad dog" then in the night or when yo go out put the pup in a crate not to big, as MOST dog wont piss in there own beds.. i say most as ive hear

  16. Cocker all the way, dont forget your going to have this dog for maybe 15 years. so i would do it right, and you will be very happy with a cocker. this is my first gundog am training up and as long as you take you time and dont rush, and you will NEED PLENTY OF PATIENCE, you will have a great hunting partner, and buy the best you can with good lines. she about 5 months in the picture and about 7 months here

  24. does anybody know of any dog couriers ive done a scan of the net and only found one and he charging £150 to pickup the dog from somerset and drop off in holyhead north wales, i need to find a better pice really.. cheers
  25. I take it these prices are per day, its all down to how do you feel about someone else taking the game from your land, and if you can trust them to respect your land... but it could work in your favor as if you ever need a trained dog, he is going to sort yo the best deal.. but the last thing you want is someone turning up wrecking your land and killing all your game then moving on the the next farm after 2 seasons.. if they are well to do people and have full insurance and are not going to kill everything in sight. give it a go for a season..
