    everyone has there different methods of imprinting, but at the end of the day its got to be down to keeping the bird flying and killing at the right weight, thanks for the info spar, not to sure what method am going to use yet but as you say get her killing glad your spar is doing well for you, cheers

    so it would be mainly from check kills for a male pere/saker on game, from waiting on. what would be the down side to a female, as am sure a female could bind to a game bird, and would wait on to, if a male pere/saker was flown from the fist would it gain height before he went in for the kill then and would a female straight line chase for the kill. am not looking to buy a longwing at the moment just intrested.

    Which longwing or hybrid longwing, would suit best short slips on game birds flushed by a HPR or spaniel, and also waiting on for flushed game, and maybe take a bit of the black stuff. all close in flights. cheers

    silver solder is the boy, you can silver solder stainless steel to which is mega strong, and will still crimp, am a welder and i use to make them all the time... cheers steve

    Ive have a pet staffordshire bull terrier and she will retrieve a toy , and shes had no training at all, thing to do is, as said in the post get a lets say a rubber ball, go to a small lane with only one way out, roll the ball down the lane, and your dog has to come towards you with the ball, give plenty of praise on return to hand, and repeat about 3 times aday, then maybe move to a small area not a big area as the dog will want to run around with the toy as it will think you want to play a game, dont lose you cool just go back to some lane work, then maybe throw the ball into some co

    Ive have up for sale is my 3/4 greyhound 1/4 whippet, due to me concentrating more on gun dogs, and ive been give a pointer to train. she is a great lurcher and has done well for me in the short time ive had her, she can be worked off the lead with no problems at all, day and night. as soon as she has had a chase she is straight back to you, she is stock broke, jumps, and is a great in the kennels, she could even go indoors as she is a very clean dog. any demo given as ive nothing to hide with this bitch, there is a thread i put up about her saying i was going to breed her, i still think s
