    I am not a breeder but one of my best mates breeds whippets and as mally said he refuses to use sertain strains as its all to well know some of the lines hold more than whippet blood in them and as i said i can assure you than even though it is now not unusual to see a kc whippet of 23" it is very doubtfull that they are pure bred whippets hence why the vast majority of breeders now have blood tests done to make sure there dogs are indeed pure bred whippets and not just dogs with what are realy just "fake" pedigree papers. i also agree that £200 is not over the top and i dont doubt that

    know what you mean bud i had a dog in there i intended on keeping and working and putting over my bitch later but he was 22" at 7 months old and his sire was 23 an a half so i decided he was not what i was after its not a bad idea as alot of places used to and still do just put papers to dogs when a breeder has 20-30 whippets with paper work it isnt hard to introduce a greyhound and use one of his other dogs paper work supossedly this is what the show ring is now looking for bigger more rebust and with weight on them i was told to show my bitchs but i refuse to put weight on them and make them

    im unsure as the bitch was done by the breeder both her parents were also done its down to the amount of greyhound blood etc in some lines most will already know about ill find out as my mate had his dog done its marked on the dogs card if the parents were done and her obviously if both sire and dam are done the bitch will have same results as them so if they are both pure the pups will be ...

    top post mally , my best mate has just had a litter from his good bitch there but as above struggled to find something he wanted eventualy using a blue dog thats been winning alot of peddy racing had 2 rabbits by accident but it was his size shape and speed that my mate liked the owners of him are more interested in showing and the dogs doing well but they would rather his pups done all sorts as they feel it will promote his lines as an alround stud . my mates bitch had 8 out of him last nite and if they make half the dogs there dam is they will be worth there weight in gold. both stud an

    lads this dog is far from the stuff you see struting around the show ring today he has some nice lines behind him and some of his back ground is alike my bitch and i will say one thing she is one hell of a bitch on boltied rabbits bushes for fun and picks rabbits up on the lamp before they even know whats hit them so the lines behind him are fine just because the lad doesnt have time to work him dont mean his offspring wont have working abilities its probably seen more work than 90% of the saluki's adding to the lurcher world !

    its irelevent whether its gold running through his viens % of salukix's you hear about are bread out of him so everyone and anyone has some of his blood its as was said what happens with next generations etc when everyone is using him or pups out of him . as for paying for the blood at 8 year old he deserves a rest and piecefull retirement not put out to stud to draw 1200 back into his new owner anyone buying him for his blood is buying him for stud as if it were his blood they wanted they would buy a pup out him like the one also for sale out of him on epupz not just buy him ? i can

    i know the feeling bud im not in the market for a running dog or the bloomin thing would have been in my kennel although the dog would have just needed put in its place it was catching rabbits and big rabbits so would have been worth a try he hardly looked at it so i hear. iv been after a terrier for a while mate took a bit to find what i was after and no one would get back to me about them eventualy had one sent 400 odd mile and its the best thing i could ever done at least with a pup any problems are your fault no one else can be blamed plus pups are fun.

    mate i went along to take a photo of the dog today and the tit said he handed it into the police im not amused he has wasted my time puting the dog on here but he tells me the dog was a bit agresive if you went near the kennel at nite not much use for lamping then and he said it wouldnt let his other dog a bitch in the kennel was growling at her he failed to tell me this last week when asking to advertise him on here im glad he got rid as it would be my name on the line if the dog did have problems or bite some one.

    had these pups delivered today via k9 transport and they are a cracking pair of terriers too thanks to mike from k9 transport i have used them before and will use them again ! also cheers to dig4life top lad and im over the moon with these pups cracking forward little terriers just like they should be i messaged a few other people on here with not even a reply in regards to pups im glad now as i couldnt have found better ill get picks up over the weekend of them .

    i aint saying that money is more important than home but if someone expects something for free they will expect everything else for free if someone pays 800 for a dog they can obviously afford it and who is going to pay 800 for a dog and neglect it ? i was just trying to say i didnt think these were over priced and someone would be lucky to buy a pack as its something you may never see for sale again a pack of ten hounds . good luck with the sale.

    for a kc beagle pup your talking £850 so why the hell are you folk moaning about a full pack at this price youl be lucky if you see another full pack for sale in another 10 years plus if the bitch drops 10 pups your pack will consist of 20 so your talking £100 each they will have cost you so its pennys. i would love a couple of hounds and would happily pay £200 for a decent one already working.

    for not being studed there is an awful lot of dogs about bred from him is there not maybe not this lads doing but if he hasnt had him long should he not have thought about it a bit more before buying him rather than having to sell him on again so soon . hope the dog finds a decent home where he will be respected for the rest of his life and not just bred to death.

    they will have made a hell of lot from him on stud fee alone probably less people using him now so of no use to them personaly i would keep the dog but doubt i would pay that for him without a trial to prove he isnt injured etc he is nice dog and has thrown some nice pups sure someone will make there money back and more on stud fee on him again. a shame as he is a hansom chap and deserves more than just covering bitchs.

    read your first post he has a few pups left ? so in other words he has sold others from each litter as i presume the terrier is from a diff litter than the lurchers ? so yes left overs and £800 kahn jihad is for sale for not much more than that so £800 for a mongrel is slightly over sarcastic good luck selling your pups mate but at that price you would be better selling them in ad-trader.

    i could have sword this was a free country and you are on a public forum with fellow dog men whom i may add are selling pups for a hell of alot less and looking at the first pick the garden is anything but tidy so you have a hard neck asking that for it when people can hardly sell dogs for less than half that on here genuine dog men selling genuine dogs not someone selling half a dozen pups for a man who has been in the game half a life time yet cant sell his own dogs ?

    almost 800 for pups he has left christ he must have made a few bob in 35 yrs if this is just the left overs from these two litters.... 35yrs in the game and he is breeding dogs that he hasnt already secured homes for thats unusual .

    disabled lad in my street is looking to rehome his lurcher dog dont know much about it other than its black and its neutered sure its about 16 months old iv never even seen the dog so cant coment on what like it is if anyone can offer it a good home ill pass on his number it has been taking rabbits in the past few weeks so will get someone going the boy litraly is on his last legs its just a matter of time till he is in a wheel chair and the dog aint getting out the kennel hardly so if anyone wants him ill happily pass on his number as he is at me to take it and im not after a running dog.

    know a boy rehoming a collie greyhound bullwhippet decent alrounder not seen much on the lamp yet but has had a few the dog is black 16 months old jumps etc the boy is disabled and isnt showing the dog any interest asked me if i wanted him but im not after a running dog if you want him ill put you onto the lad he aint wanting anything for it but it would need picked up from fife scotland only down side he is neutered and isnt broken to ferrets but is worked of the slip with ferrets i dont know the ins and outs but pm me and ill fire you his number.

    majority of farmers are the same i know a man who lives in a cottage on some land surounded by 3 farms now 2 of the farmers are sound and alsong as dogs are leashed around stock they are easy going the other man who allows us to ferret etc is a diff kettle of fish no dogs what so ever on his land anyway the man who lives on the cottage has horses etc and the comon land behind his house hills reservwires etc ocasionaly have sheep on it but the comon land bit means its basicaly no ones land and anyone can walk anywhere on it with your dog unleashed aslong as its not hanging of sheep etc even tho

    was thinking the same iv seen a ratting pack with yorkies in it . i have a jill ferret that kills rats but i doubt she would stick with ol charlie till i dug to her !
