tell you what the white dog in the back of the pickup its a dam monster stunning big dog seen some handy dogo's but have also seen some crap around nowadays tbh its as said like every breed there are good and bad and always some freeks of nature personaly i would stick with what we have no point in more unwanted mongrels being passed around to idiots if 5 people want a dogo cross and 3 of them line a greyhound to achieve that there could be potentualy 30 pups of whitch 20 are then left and then if its a 3/5 grey dogo they are after thats potentualy 10 litters of 10 so theres 100 eventualy ther

Whippets (update pups now 11 months)
fresh earth replied to fresh earth's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
A whippet is a whippet in my opinion any whippet will work. I said when i bred this litter i would keep updating there progress and keep in touch with there owners so thats all im doing. Once they are running against some decent class racing whippets we shall see what they are realy made of. You just need to know how to take fence hopper he has some handy dogs and unlike alot of people he does test them to there full ability. To answer his question yes they are just whippets but if i wanted anything more i wouldnt just keep whippets i have had many lurchers but none has realy earned its place -

fresh earth replied to fresh earth's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
The black bitch is kept by a lady in a cottage who specificaly wanted her for keeping rabbits of her veg and foxes out her chickens and she has done so she was never into showing or racing but the owner of the stud has encouraged her to and now she loves it as did lilly as for the others 1 is in a pet home with a single mother who has a death boy he never leaves the lads side the bitch i kept is also now in a pet home as she had a very bad injury i decided i couldnt work or race her so rehomed her there were 3 black dogs all are being used for ferreting and the other blue dog is owned by a mem -
Whippets (update pups now 11 months)
fresh earth replied to fresh earth's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
They will have a hard job considering none of them will be bred for a few years and my next litter wont be sold i also dont have any stud dogs its upto the pups owners whether they stud there dogs nout to do with me im just happy with how they have turned out. When will your bitch be due to the dog in your pik ? if i were after a bullx pup thats the sort of dog i would be looking for a litter to be sired by. kris -

fresh earth replied to fresh earth's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I would never be without a dog around the house paraded greyhounds when i was a kid and had whippets from my pre school days have taken all sorts with mine on all sorts of terrain and tbh never had much bother have had one bitch who was plagued with injury but your always going to get one i mostly work mine with ferrets nowadays or on the lamp but was running them at a local club last year just due to an injury and my hours i aint raced this year you wouldnt go far wrong with a whippet. Unless your looking for an open class dog i wouldnt worry so much as to the breeding or lines i have yet to -

Cheers they have turned out very well it was my first litter of whippets and we hoped it would be somewhere to build from and so far it is looking better than we could have expected will be using the sonny to one of my other bitch's in 2012 once he has had the chance to show his potentual on the track. The dam has been lay up for most of the summer with an injury but she is holding up now so will get some photo's of her out working over the next few weeks iv only been doing road work with her to get her fit again and harden her back of here is her at the start of the year -
Well my pups are now 11 months have not been kept informed like all had told me but here are the ones i have been kept upto date with

Personaly for a working dog i would pick the most forward pup and more lively make sure they have a nice strong stance. im just going to upload an update of my pups from last year 3 of them are beating the fastest dog on there track at 11 months old and there sire is a show dog if reared correctly any whippet should take rabbits and chase well enough for a bit fun with a lure. regards

just have it of from whatever joint before the break will be healed and running again before the dog would be out the kennel if left to heal its self.

Bottom line is no one in this current climate should be boasting about piks and at the end of the day whats boaring about looking at dog pictures ? I come on here to look at pictures of dogs personaly and no one should need graphic pictures online to enjoy the forum or sport and if they do they clearly are not part of the working dog world. The streets are over run with drug dealers and they get less bloody heat than we do on here but i doubt very many of them would publicly post pictures that would incriminate them self's . As for the private section what possible good would that bring guaran

Few piks of my mates show pony lol (whippet)
fresh earth replied to fresh earth's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
She is a looker always prancing about i wind him up when were ferreting it acts like a bloody barbie sometimes haha diff kettle of fish when she is chancing though -
Found these amusing this bitch has never been trained to stand and is usualy like a kite . Her breeder asked to see her in the correct stance . What do you think ? 14 months very high stamina keen as mustard but as light as pipe reek sometimes lol .

Most whippets would have the fire in my opinion although they would take a bit stick and to me it would be pointless risking the dog being lay up for weeks for the sake of a fox . Obviously we will only ever hear the story's now with this ban and all .
-
Nice pups .. . As above plenty kc strains work even the so called show stock if entered properly .
-
lift the ferret on its back if its pisser is half way up its tummy its a hob if its pisser is between its back legs its a jill like sexing pups ... or as stated there nuts should be showing now and i would have them split i always keep what im not breeding split up from now till summer as they will just make a mess of each other .
