Thats what i usualy do just give them plenty till there bout a year old and get them to a fit weight. She should be ok once the better weather comes in and she's getting plenty good grub now so should cum round. Crush is coming on braw let her of the other day and she was sliding all over the damn place so she was back on a leash within minutes lol she's a bloody nasty wee sod to and will not let any of the others near her feed . She is walking to heal no bother so all is well just letting her be a pup for now. Thought id get a pik up of her with the others to give a better idea of her size .

If had read it all youd have read iv not long got her , I know what you mean though some are bad for keeping weight on i have only had her about a month she was just left in a pen of piss and crap she is still a bit high strung but coming round now. I feed all mine on red mills racer with about 1/4 or 1/2 pound of cooked mince plus a tined plum tomato each plus every 2nd day they get fish either mackril or sardine . The bitch is a picky eater so iv been needing to give her breakfast aswel i wormed her out as she was absolutly crawling with worms and flea's so she will get weight on over the ne

URGENT, WANTED A GUARD DOG!!!
fresh earth replied to welshnutter69's topic in Working Dogs & Livestock
The one i looked at was more the farm type than show she was a decent shape and size not overly big and heavy , Was from a working back ground and he said she was trained for personal protection but it was an asian bloke and tbh how the hell would i know what prosses the bloke had use to train her. If i had been on a farm or something id have had her but what footage is seen of her she looked like she would be difficult to control when roiled up as she didnt seem to have the greatest obediance just pulling about and then barking on comand then a bit sleeve work with a bloke in a big jacket wit -
Thought id make the best of the girl and me being of today and got up one of the farms i work to let the pup meet some stock. First thing she come across was a foal he's just coming up a year in april/may right bold wee criter well crush thought she would tank up to his stable and have a deek he is quite content with dogs as im up there daily and he knows all my others so he had a bit sniff at her she had one at him burled in a circle a couple of times then come back. So we moved along to some cattle sheds she was a bit weery of the cattle we walked up the middle my others are quite content ag

Looks more like a dogo than a presa x to me that white thing and dont look very greyhoundy neither. Seen a boeboal on not long ago i tampered with the though but she had some pp training and tbh i wasnt about to take on a 3 year old boeboal that i had no clue on how she had been trained. Sure she would have suited your needs though -
I meant to say 6-4 when i was typing , yes that was what i used to be under on here been on here for about 3-4 year as this now though .... I was only about 14 - 15 when they were placeing decent bets so i never actualy had more than 50 of my own money on and to be honest i wouldnt know jack about prices as iv never been a betting man myself dont gamble on bandits horses or dogs anymore and when i did gamble the dogs it was a friend betting but i do know the kind of money going on these dogs i remember a brindle dog come over and i was 6 or 7 at the time cost 3k and hit the hair rail on his fi

I peraded thornton always had the best dogs on the track my grandad was a well known man used to pay alot of money for a dog and when it was trying it would be the norm for grands to go over the books he had the 1977 mrs dowie trophie winner river a wee blue bitch. Most i knew about was a brindle and white bitch wee had over to do a job she done the clock three times stopped before she finaly qualified at 1660 (stopped) she won her first 3 races stopped and we got trap 1 scr with track record holder out trap 2 think we got 3-1 and 6-2 across the boards she think she was giving 2yrds to trap 6

my pups a yapping bam of a thing starts at around sunlight and yaps all day she aint looking for attention she plays away with herself think she's simple tbh. When i take the others out she yapps for ten minz then settles down i find a bone shuts her up while am away but she is more noisy when the other dogs are there had a bitch like this before and she did get quieter when she started to mature . Im the same though aint realy a problem since its in the day but when im out in the garden at the ferrets or that shes iways yappin away and it does get on yur wick a little .

To be completely honest mate i dont run coursing dogs i have done in the past but were all bitchs i bought at around 12-15 months and every one was goosed due to it being over worked for a pup. From my experience with whippets and greyhounds though id personaly be holding back till it was 12 months then start to run it idealy starting its first season at around 16 months thats what age im entering two iv been bringing on just now and its going well i never see any hurry but i always have something to use so i can afford to wait a little longer. In the past i entered them about the 9 month mark

Exactly what i was going to say if i were out the road id just call round see what they had in go look at whats available and buy something that aint keen to meet you if its not keen meeting you in the light itl do exactly what you need it to in the dark and realisticaly aslong as he;s stable with you and you dont have young kids to go near it then your sorted with any luck itl get hold of one of the c*nts aslongs signs are up its there own bloody fault as they say third time lucky . -
Whippets and injury prone is a myth i run mine on hard rough ground and in woodland and till now have had less injurys with the whippets combined than iv had with lurchers hence why i only keep whippets. Also a rough coat has absolutly nothing to do with stamina or ability best stamina i ever saw in a running dog was a show bred whippet she would run all day ferreting and would still be running about mooching 6 hours later on the 3 mile walk home. I work a hardy black kc whippet and my mate has two beddys a 1st and a 2nd x both broken coated bitchs n ones forever taking nails out and the other
-
Wouldnt go wrong with a decent well bred whippet biddable and easy to train stick to you like glue and more than usefull on the beem and with ferrets first dog i evere owned was a whippet av tried everything else from smaller to as large and hardy as could be gotten and still happy with a couple of whippets seings all i do is rabbits .

Had various dogs liked the cane corso although he was dangerous around men to the extent i had to place him on a farm i got him at 9 months and he must have had bad experience as a pup. The dobermans i have owned were cracking dogs very loyal and trustworthy with the kids but again both bitchs i had would not tolerate other men even mates they knew wouldnt get in they also both were funny around my girl and both had to go after going of her on seperate occasions think it was down to them thinking they were above her but no one would have gotten in the home with any of them. Best i had was my a

Never actualy lost any of mine but i dont use my canny quiet ones mainly use a rough poley iv had for years and a silvery jill both pritty thin built compared to my others and neither tolerate other ferrets iv lost hobs trying to put them over the jill. If its seriously over run though id just knock up a smoker with an old strimmer or the likes pick one up for a bit 10 - 15 bux

If i were closer id have been game bud just in myself, Out alot the now lost me bloody job xmas eve pisser like that said gives me a bit time to bring on my youngsters. Did you get out then? kris
-
If i were the lad id have phoned the bloody coppers if i hadnt the balls to go out in see to them myself bloody clowns. pitty the bull looked tidy enough in the first picture. Cant say id blame a young untrained kennel hand for refusing to enter a kennel with a man agressive akita its the managers fault for not sorting this out earlyer quite sad its still going on as in reality you put the dog out in the run and clean the indoor area then vise versa i worked in kennels as a 13 year old boy and never have i come across i dog that has worried me.
-
Never had this problem but mine and my mates are always out in packs twice a day mixed age and sex and randy youngsters are soon put in there place so they learn its not how to behave. Take him out with a bitch that will put him in his place but not overly agressive to the extent she will seriously hurt him he's still young enough and should submit quite easily and once he realises he cant get away with it he will stop it the ones im out with dont even look at a bitch till she reaches about 10th day of her seasonand then theyl start showing interest as they know they will get over her the next

edited that there sorry , I a had the wee white bitch with the tan patch when i split with my ex i lost her my bloody springer bitch and my house and pritty much everything i owned as i didnt have a leg to stand on seing as posesion is 9 10ths of the law. The hard necked c*nt ditched the kids of that crimbo and triend to get me lifted for kidnapping them the maniac thats a few year ago now. She ended up giving the bitch to whom was our next door neighbour her mates man i see the bitch now and again she only made 15" and is quite terrier like now he just knocks about with her and gets the odd r
