without paperwork 200-250 with your talking 400 to over 1000 for a well bred one . As for doing all the above in my opinion its extremely difficult to keep them from running in when there worked alongside a lurcher or ferreting as its instinct to chase and copy the other dogs. There for i wouldnt expect to use the same spaniel to flush to other dogs as i would for beating as it would more than likely peg birds and run in and on any shoot im on if i were to take a dog that done either beating or shooting then id be asked not to come back. Thus said they are second to none for flushing game

The silly old perverts lifted outside nursarys and schools for perving on children that are also on the bloody council comitys and grassing kids in for playing bloody football in there own damn yard !! what a bloody carry on . I the lads a twat for it but theres probably another reason for them grassing some twat with a yorky probably walked pass

Agree lads iv been watching her and she has slown down a bit now was just talking to the mrs earlyer and she was saying will she be as big as mum (28") i said no chance and said exactly that i would be very surprised if she went much over 23". She is deffo full of it like stands up for her self well for her age still a little yappy but she is slowly coming out of that just every now and again she decides to stand with her side against the run and yap her tits of at the bitch kenneled next to her lol. Her sire is the fawn and white dog in whip x grey avatar above and dam a large top honcho

Been meaning to get a few of crush over the last week but been bit busy. She is starting to shape up a little now getting short turns of the leash and is now walking along with my older bitch happily without wanting to run full tilt every 2 sec's. She is prity much fine with all stock now although i recon she would have one of the chickens if i didnt keep her in check on some of my land but for her age she is doing exactly what i would like her to. She has sort of stuck at 19" now for almost a month so im hopefull she is slowing down at last. Cut her feeds now from letting her free eat as she

Where abouts are you whin ?

My thoughts exactly realy a whippet is a whippet imo for what there bred for every whippet should be capable of taking a rabbit with a little training. Although i dont debate the fact that a working line should technicaly throw the over all better working dog , The show type should be and still is more than capable of doing what a whippet is supposed to .... Catch rabbits.

Some fine dogs there , £600 is a fair price for a well bred dog imo. The ones i have had the pleasure to watch need space to realy get the chance to open up and when they do they are spectacular to watch run.

As above we all talk about the way a whippet is bred determining whether it is a working whippet or not but realisticly what should be classed as a working whippet.... If i have two show line whippets that i work then breed and keep a pup from that i work and breed are the pups then classed as working whippets ? Or if i have 2 working types as pets that i keep a pup from dont work it then breed from it are the pups then no longer working whippets ? In reality what realy does a whippet need for it to be classed as a working whippet ?

Best i ever saw was last summer me and my mate were walking at about 6am up some local woods where the kids camp. One of my bitchs was on heat and we was sat at a small fire , His bullx decided to start collecting buckfast bottles and taking them to my bitch by the time we left there were 8 or so empty bottles lay where she had been sat it was classic of all the bloody things it could have picked up it was like he was showing of to her swagering about with a bottle in its mouth lol.

Died down at around 1-2am here before that the wind was extreme i recon we may have got the end of that australian carry on sertainly felt like it anyway had to go collect a mates dogs as the roof had blown of some of his pens. One things for sure there was no hope in hell anything down wind was hearing or smelling a bloody thing .

I would say to an extent yes . Only because all dogs are passed down the instinct to chase aswel as strike at its quarry , As said above i have seen litter mates strike totaly differently. I would also tend to disagree though with the above in some respects about fast dogs not running top speed. The way most dogs run is down to how they are taught and more importantly alowed to .... To an extent the way they run is passed down the line but if the owner stops sertain traits and allows others it imo changes that dogs running style from what has been passed down. Questions answer ... Yes its

Unsure but i have seen pied looking jackdaws i was told it is a regular occuranse by an old lad i used to do the british with Also about 6 pied blackbirds within 5 miles of my home with totaly different amounts of white.

Never myself had a run in but i do only work ground i have writen permision for as a ban on dogs and 2 or 3k worth of animals and the same on a motor is more than a couple of kills is worth to myself. A mate has been stopped 3 times in a week running some of his writen permision big 4x4's right across the feild to them spouting about laws on killing scotish wildlife he was with a traveler lad who lives on the farm and the 3rd time they called the farmer down to sort it so can imagine the stick the obviously uneducated to our game police officers recieved lol twats.

Starve a pup thats still growing its bones and not fully hardened to then run it on bolted rabbits .... Cracking advice that eh ? Id give the dog a chance as said its young a few EASY slips and personaly bolted rabbits are not the easyest specialy where i am as there back to ground after 30yards max. Get a skin and ragg the fluk out it with him let him know he can take hold of it and wont get a row for it as said he will pik them when he's ready its a puppy thing just mouthing iv had 3 or 4 do it started a bit early. My old bitch wont touch dead game throw a rabbit she wont flinch at it l

Nicely marked bitch that doubt she will be around long mate .

I will add though that i would never own an ex racing greyhound or pure greyhound solely as a working animal as i agree there are far more suitable dogs available. But yes they can and will work to a suitable standard but the mucking around involved weighed up with the actual amount of work youl get from the dog imo isnt worth it. If you have kennel space and want something for a bit fun alongside your other dogs then by all means give one a go.

i same up here shambles crap money and agencies poles and cheques galore some places wont entertain you unless your a pole lol great eh. Could you not get your lawyer to talk to the pf mate let em know the crack with struggling etc and getting the chance of plenty work away maybe keep you outa crap being away etc ... I was on the tag and they let me away on a 12 week contract had me on a curfue with the local plod where we were meant to check i was in by 8pm never had a problem and case was dropped as i was working fulltime and showing alot of changes .

a meant to say 800 yard and 680 yard in the above post.

I done alot more than parade the greyhounds iv been brought up looking after them and helped a profesional trainer for a number of years so i know the breed aswel as the next my grandfather raced them for 60 years so im sure what i learnt from him is as much as anyone else will know. All i can say on regards of stamina and tireing out if you think about it .... I have paraded dogs in 800 open races that have then won 2 nites later over 680 regularly now if you work it out if you slipped one of these racing greyhounds 20 times sensibly Over 20yard slips then they will be no more tired by t
-
Yes.... iv seen it regular first hand although a dog has a little more size about it for to be worth the slip imo.
