Bloody hell-there's a blast from the past!! Aubry fryer. I suddenly feel old!! You'll probibly be surprised to know, that mick douglas also bred one of the best dogs that ever crossed the irish sea.He was a very strong rough coated dog,and belonged to a gamekeeper friend of mine.He was a squarish big dog.Rough coated, and a smokey deerhoundy color. There was nothing this boy didnt take. But he would also tryto retrieve the odd yew, when the addrenalin was up.I bred the 1st ever litter, from him.To a stocky greyhound bitch. There was 4 pups,in the litter.2 rough, and 2 smooth. They were absolute ma

I agree with you mate. That its not about bone, but whats behind the rib cage.Ive a 3/4 whippet,1/4 bull bitch here. She aint got much in the way of bone, and stands about 22 inches TTS.But bot has she got heart, and she aint had a good winter yet.Unfortunately,my 24 inch 50lb whippetxgreyhound, jumped 2 6ft kennels, and made his way in to her shed. The results were these. Now these got bone. But i hope there's heart in there too.Or they'll be a waste of space. They are 5 bweeks old,in these pix.The dam is 22,and the sire 24.I recon at least 2 of these pups.Possibly 3.Will do 25+TTS,and we

i pay 55p a kilo for tripe that is cooked minced and frozen. get bones with plenty meat on them for free. Dont agree with cookin tripe mate.It needs fed raw.As cookin,or boiling, only destroys everthing thats good about it.

I had a wee bitch once,that was 50lb in weight.But useless.On the other hand.One of the best bitches to ever run Derry track.Was a 46lber.Not so long ago.There was a 51lb bitch,who did 28.08,for a 500.

I found that they always pulled to the outside,to try n get off the thing. So i boxed in both sides, and the difference it made was amazing.I used to have a 3 dog treadmill. All i had to do,was open the kennel, and the 1st three dogs used to run onto the thing, and took up their places, like cows in a milkin parlour. They were harder to get off it though,as they loved it.Took months to achieve this though. So have patience, and never ever shout at,or scold them.If they try to get off te thing. As that will realy upset the apple cart, and make them hate it,from the word go.I have a 1 inch, square steel bar

Just wondering what jabs the pup is getting. If he's havin his last one,at 8 weeks.Cant get them done with the 1st jab now, till they are 8 weeks, and some vets wont touch them till they are 10 weeks.I used to do mine for Parvo,at 6 weeks, and then start the full course at 8 weeks. Now i cant get the 6 week jabs.So just start the full course at 8,with the 2nd jab at 12 weeks. Its the new 7n1 course.

ill be honest iam no fan of these bull x dogs but i cant knock what ive not had ive seen 1 or 2 work on rabbits but never to much good are they just pure fox dogs or can they account for good bags i meant just bull x greyhound who buys a bull x for rabbiting i asked a simple question timmy plenty people buy bull x for rabbiting or is this a hear we go again snide remarks an all that I seen some good rabbiters with whippet in them.I have a big dog who catch well but he would fall on stamina compared to say a collie cross.Genrally speaking Bulls are up for anything and so

Its great for pups, and saplings mate. But as for racing or working dogs.I wouldnt give it space in me bin.Bought a load of the stuff,at £17 a bag. When it 1st came out.All my race dogs lost lengths on the stuff. It hasnt been heard off,in Australia mate. What does that say.

i have answerd this in another thread ,i dont know if the x makes them different or they just climertise ,because of being born her ,or that we only run them hard at night ,your guess is as good as mine ,but they most defenetly dont get any trouble from over heating ,that also goes for the mother ,she lamps as well . OK.Have read right through this topic, and am i sick, that my nephew has just gave away,(for nothing)his 15 month old Malamute bitch. These are great looking dogs.I have wondered for quite a while. What the x would look like.Never mind work like.Ive no experience of this x.But i'll

Heres a few. He's my daughters dog. This is him,on his way to victory,in the racing final. Not another dog, within 6/7 lengths of him.Up a 300 yrd hill. This is another one of him, beating his kennel mate.Who is almost level with him.The all Ireland Straight racing champion,is the dog wearing the number 3 jacket. This was Danny's 2nd ever race,as he was only a 14 month old pup realy. This is him with Kennel mate, and their proud owners -
