  1. When i bought the dog i was told he was lakie x russel but he has the stamp of a lakie more than anything. He's only about 15 months now. Oldskool yes mate the pic was taken back at the van. It's my mates new type transit, panneled out with ply, dont need to worry about mess then do you !! Welshound2 that brindle dog in the background is my bull x greyhound x saluki x greyhound. He's just over 12 months and was taken for his first look out yesterday as well Cheers gingerbob
  2. I had a walk out this morning with my mate over some permission were we are allowed to protect the gamebirds from the increasing fox population. The land holds a few earths and after checking the first, which didn't seem to be well used we moved onto the next and the smell of fox was evident. The terrier shot to ground and after coming out once shot back down bottled up his quarry allowing us to dig to him at just over 3ft. The dog took a few minor nicks on the nose but nothing to serious. All in all a good morning protecting the gamebirds Cheers Gingerbob

  4. Had another good day out this morning in the dales. Not using nets we bolted the rabbits for the dogs and managed 28 good rabbits but another 7 or so were mixied. But a good days sport was had Here's a pic of me and a mate with my bedlington/whippet type lurcher and his bull/whippet type bred bitch. Cheers gingerbob
  5. i've been ferretting in the dales about 15 times so far this season and getting around 15 mixied every time. There's usually a bit a the start of every season but seems to be worse this year Its handy for bringing a young pup on though, builds there confidense no end. Sad way for a rabbit to die though
