THE OBVIOUS ADVICE MOST PEOPLE WILL GIVE IS USE THE WIND(IF ANY) AND CHECK THE MOON TABLE BEFORE YOU GO OUT,,IF YOUR A LITTLE HEAVY FOOTED OR YOU FEEL THAT YOU CANT GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO YOUR QUARRY FIND A SPOT THAT YOU KNOW THERE ARE RABBITS AND SIT QUIET FOR A WHILE FLICKING THE LAMP ON EVERY COUPLE OF MINS TO SEE IF ANYTHING HAS POPPED OUT..STILL USING THE WIND AND COVER YOU CAN CHANGE POSITION WHEN YOU WANT TO,IVE HAD SOME GOOD BAGS IN THE PAST DOING THIS,I FOUND IT GOOD A LAST LIGHT ASWELL WHEN THERES JUST ENOUGH LIGHT TO TAKE A SHOT WITHOUT THE LAMP,, GOOD LUCK SCOTTY

JUST A COUPLE OF PICS OF THE PUP HE`S ABOUT 6 1/2 MONTHS OLD NOW AND COMING ON SLOWLY BUT SURELY,HE GOT HIS FIRST DAYTIME RABBIT 2 DAYS AGO WHILE OUT ON A MOOCH, HE`S STARTING TO USE HIS NOSE WELL. HE REGULARLY LIFTS PHEASANT OUT THE SEAT. HE`S ALSO GOT A SWOLLEN TOE..BEEN TO VET AND GOT SOME ANTI INFLAMATRY`S AND STRAPPED IT UP. HE WANTED TO OPEN THE TOE UP TO HAVE A LOOK INSIDE INCASE OF FOREIGN BODIES ?BUT THERE IS NO ENTRY WOUND..I THINK HE WAS A BIT PREMATURE IN SUGGESTING THIS ,WHAT DO YOU THINK?

yeah its in test.i can also get it retested for 15 quid from work i can also get it re charged whenever i want from work or i could just get a regulator for the 300 bar cylinders we use now and just top up when i need to whilst on duty,,,,i think lol scotty

i did think that was a bit brutal to be honest..ive got to much respect for dogs to enjot that..the dog turnover must be huge..

cheers alhoy might wait a bit for the mackeral,,will try the sand eel flask thing i think..willl take some lug worm up with me.i think the last time i was up there i used peeler crab which worked quite well,,,any moer advice would be geat,,oh and what is freelining? sorry for my stupidity scotty

hi bbb he`s 6 month now.i think i might be on a loser..im still going to stick at it,its a mare when a dog dosant retrieve!like you say its hard not to sicken him by doing to much i might lay off for a weekor two then start again...plenty of time before next season scotty
