One is mine the other is my mates... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JTYuVKLbG6E http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JL6jSSPO-lc
  2. Just thought that this was worth a post, bushed by whippet shot by me and retrieved by her. By no means perfect but I was quite shocked to see her swim back with it! http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=c4-feed-u&v=6eWfKY-qlmg
  3. I've got a few clips from the last few months on camera, it's better quality and has single dog working on it do you can compare how they run alone or alongside another. Last week I filmed my whippet retrieve a pheasant through water.
  4. I'd say for that land two dogs is ideal. Hedges and fences etc, but yes they can get in each others way!
  5. My mate made the vid, apparently that music was off his mrs' laptop, ha! It's not text book no, no nets and bolt to the dogs. And not all rabbits are caught. Lots of big awkward warrens and weather give them a chance. Everyone has different opinions, be boring if we were all the same! The dogs aren't related.
  6. Cheers, my mate put the clip together. We run different numbers of dogs according to the terrain we work. Usually two dogs is suitable.

I see these posts regularly and dont usually comment, i chin them and thats that! however went out with my cousin and uncle couple of weeks back, my uncle showed me a method I havnt seen before(due to my cousin not being able to break the rabbits neck) he held the rabbit by its back legs in his right hand, stuck his right boot ankle out abit, swung it and hit its head on his boot heel, worked a treat but not for me thanks! anyone else use/seen this method?
