  1. Going on last year the terriers and lurcher show was only on the sunday and be willing to pay 10quid each to get in, family 25 and kiddos 3,thankfully the parkings free ha ha!!!! You can find it on www.countryfairnorthwales.co.uk

Now then when did it get to be sooooo serious, it's a day out ,it's a meet your mates day ,it's a this is my dog now let's see yours day.I did'nt see owt wrong with the judging AND I did'nt come away with a fistful of rosettes but I aint chucking my toys out of the pram.The day before my lurcher got 1st, nowt on mon and the same judge so the better dog won on the day,same with my terriers,red all round on the sun nowt on mon,it's the way the it is.Would like to know if you were showing or not.The Aberconwy lads put 3 shows together to my knowing and I got no gripe with the way they

  5. the showing being run by lurcherworld and they aint running a terrier show from what i was told when i rang up this am,dont think they into terriers anymore, anyone out there know any more?
  6. it was certainly the case with the border classes-all of mine had been out the day before grafting and the bitch had crossed over a stream to work gorse ,gone ages, but she came back and carried over a nice rabbit,wet, tired,but well pleased with herself and she did'nt ge a look in but what the hell,i know they do the job and it's a day out to meet up with mates and have a craic.keep the faith all you proper workers and dont go under
  7. border anni-what about our terriers,I work my terriers along side my lurcher and so they merit some show time as well and I bet I aint the only one that feels that way.I could also raise the issue that I am finding some lurcher clubs dont want terrier's,they are an afterthough to put a few more quid in the kitty.I aint bragging but one of my boys was lucky and took the terrier champ.at the shropshire game fair back in august and what got to me was the fact that we were totally ignored, not just me, but all of us terrier people.Photo's and names were taken of every dog,man,woman and child at th

  9. I can't believe that burger van got up there???????? We left before the show started because the coursing was cancelled was there at 10am and didn't want to stay til show started at 1pm. How did the show go anyway? One very good thing was the weather! Nice pics! shame you left but i know what you mean there was no way we could cource on that field though wouldnt have been fair to the dogs, show wasnt too bad concidering where he held it have had words with him and he has agreed he needs a new venue next year somewhere off the 4x4 track he he border anni- nice little show-great v
