hi, at the moment i use balance scales for reloading and i have been thinking about digital scales, i notice that most digital,s are around £100+ but some are about £30, now based on the saying [you get what you pay for] i ask are these cheap digitals accurate and are digital scales more accurate than balance in general? be interested in any advice

not tried with the mod removed, just going to try a piece of packing under the floating barrel this afternoon, if this doesnt work then its off to the gunshop to p/x for another, i myself use a t3 varmint so i will try to sway him in that direction

the last two nights i have been helping a friend zeroing his 243 rws titan, tried two scopes, the barrel is tight, the barrel is clean, the action screws are tight, the moderator is ok , also tried two different bullets hornaday 58g v max, federal 70g v shock, we get two shots about 20 mil apart just where we want them then it goes all over the place and the next two are three inches low the next two somewhere else, has anybody had this problem , if so i could do with some advice please. by the way we are shooting from a bench using a bipod and a sand bag under the stock

there seems to be a sort of, look down on ,view of poly tipped bullets for deer, why is this?. idont do too much stalking but i take about half a dozen each year all roe and this past year i have taken 7 with 7 head shots, all of them fell on the spot stone dead so poly seems to do the job 100%

thinking of buying a night vis monocolar to add on to my scope for airgunning rabbits, ive been looking at gen1 yukons but also found the digital monoculars which boast gen2 clarity for a very modist price and i am sure i can make a mounting bracket to fit to my scope, the question is are the digital ones better than yukon gen1 or not?

thanks for that,i didnt think it was illegal and should of shaken the hand of my friend, [i would of won a fiver]

following a conversation i had today i would like to ask a question, is it illegal to take a deer in england using a ballistic tipped bullet?

sure sidelock, the set up is tikka t3 varmint 20in heavy barrel 1-10 twist, ior 4-14x56 scope wildcat pred8 moderator, i went for the shorter barrel as all of my foxing is from a vehicle so keeping the set up more compact is more comfortable

hi sidelock, a little like yourself i had a 223 for fox and a 243 for deer, i didnt want a cabinet full of guns so i decided to use the 243 for both so now its my only cf rifle, i use 55g blitzkings,44g of h4895 i get about 3,650fps from a 20inch barrel, now thats as technical as i get, i think using the same rifle all the time helps me with accuracy and i get one shot kills on everything from roe downwards, hope this simple answer helps

hi, ive been reloading for a couple of years and i went down the cheap route and bought the lee anniversery kit, i ordered it from the states when you could get nearly two dollars to the pound, it cost me about £55 all i had to do was add the dies from the uk i think about £30. i use 55g blitzkings with hodgdon powder and get half inch groups from my tikka 243, i dont really think i could beat that
