  1. I've always had black Labs and never rated chocolate ones. Then I got offered a 2 year old last year took the chance and never regretted it.
  2. 55gn Sierra Blitzkings do the job everytime.
  3. I've tried them in my 6.5x55 and they were accurate enough.
  4. Tikka M65 in 6.5x55, T8 mod and Bushnell 6-18x50 scope
  5. I'd heard that renewals were taking 3 months, thats why I was pleasantly suprised to get the phone call today.
  6. Well pleased with my local firearms dept. I posted a variation off on Tuesday to add a 6.5 x55 to my fac, got a phone call at lunchtime today to say its approved and will be back to me in a couple of days. Can't be bad!
  7. I joined NOBS not long after it started and to be fair it was through them I got a start at the shoot I've been on for the last 5 seasons, I'm now the keepers right hand man and have free run of the land. However I left Nobs not long after as in my opinion things started to change for the worse. People seemed to come from nowhere and sudenly become directors, the focus seemed to change from getting beaters and shoots together to money making. So overall the original Nobs was a Godsend for me but I couldn't say the same for what it evolved into.
  8. Nice rifle mate Be careful when you're loading those lead tips though!
  9. I'm type 2 diabetic and got my FAC last August with no problems at all.
  10. Hows it going mate?

  11. I'd certainly be interested in that mate, I use a Spinone and shes fairly steady to fur
  12. Just make sure its dead like Eddie says
  13. Wow, if she's doing all that at 7 months she's doing fantastic. Most dogs wouldn't be at that standard till they'd had 3 or 4 months training ( some never get there at all ) The only advice I'd give is not to rush things, she's still only a pup.
  14. I'd agree with D C C, the Guy Wallace book is well worth having
  15. Here's a few photos of my two Rosie Lucy
  16. My latest addition Howa 1500 in 223 with a wildcat mod
  17. Hi Elma I dont shoot deer so haven't had the chance to train or use her for deer stalking. We've come across Roe while out and about and she's steady with them. As Clean Spade said in his post, they have a hell of a good sense of smell and would have no problem following a blood trail.
  18. I've had one for 4 years and worked her for the last 3 seasons. They aren't flashy workers, they have a laid back style but they'll work all day and still want to hunt some more.
  19. Hi All I just found this site and thought I'd like to join you. Marty
