  1. Dosnt look too bad by the pics, i've treated much worse! Whole lofts and insulation black from droppings/ urine and smear marks. Is it poorly fitted drainage caused that problem?
  2. Or maybe you have a pheasant shoot nearby, wounded birds can go a long way and be missed by pickers up. The season has started recently Dead rabbits could be anything from myxi to fox/dog kills etc i wouldn't go getting too worried about it.
  3. Somewhere between 8 and 10lb i would say. What lure is the larvae? Not found them in a tackle shop yet Nice fish but get yourself an unhooking mat though bud, it's a bit kinder to the fish rather than laying them on the ground, or at least leave them on the net for a photo. They are quite fragile fish despite their appearance
  4. One firework no matter how small and my terrier is a quivering wreck for hours should only be for sale to the public on 4th-5th nov! Odd thing is he is fine with a day out shooting or beating Fortunatly i'm beating on the 5th so he will be out for the count that night!
  5. Had 1 myself this morning in a duffus Quite fancy some of the trapline traps to try though.
  6. Cage trap only on residential street. Well unless you want a load of cops with rifles pointed at you!
  7. It's a tiger fish. jeremy wade is a bit of a tit on his fishing shows i normally like fishing shows but i really can't stand his! The one he did in india for the maahseer was worse than the arapima one in the jungle.
  8. I had a similar thing happen to me in a wood one day when it was very windy, the dog just couldn't hear me for the noise, thought he was gone in a rocky hole, but fortunately i walked him in the same area all the time and he had lost me and headed back to the car, little bugger was sat waiting for me. was the worst feeling ever when i couldn't find him. A coat and food left out where you last saw it would be a good idea as has been said. good luck
  9. What a waste of a fish, hell of a first pike, but still at least it will be immortalised in a glass case and not left to rot. 1 big pike is better to have in the stretch of river than the 2 or 3 smaller fish that will now move in occupy that area over time.
  10. Pets at home do the ear drops for mites for a few quid, it could be a build up of wax/ hair in the ears too which will loosen with the drops. My terrier was the same for a few days and it was mites and wax/hair in his ears. Fortunately my dog lets me clear stuff from his ears, there was loads of wax with hair stuck in it.Fold the ear back and look with a torch, warm water and cotton buds to shift the wax you can see, don't go digging around in there!
  11. The smallest british birds that walks are the wagtails. All the smaller ones hop
  12. Put it where the rat is seen and bait it with chicken food, choc spread, peanut butter etc and cover it to look like a tunnel and leave it alone. Check it from a distance, rats are scared of new things The rats will go in there soon enough.
  13. Pretty common, most want them shot on sight anyway.
  14. There are indeed a lot of arrogant knobheads who go to the college there i agree. They do have a poor rep in the area, thats posh kids let loose for the first time without mummy and daddy for ya though. Ive shot the areas around there and the bathurst estate for pigeons. Lots of people do but you need to find who to speak to. Their pack of hounds are beagles, good day out.
  15. You could always try the ag college, i know theres alot of them shoot the farms and college ground.
  16. Flashy colours don't mean a great deal at 200ft below the surface, they are there to make you buy the lure rather than catch fish. Every colour has it's day.
  17. Still the same as ever then! A stupid man but he did have a gorgeous wife when i knew him, certainly couldn't have been for his money
  18. Is that still in the hands of christopher harry thomas? i would imagine he's skint again if it's for sale! Went into Adminstration, and he is now down in wales, left in a hurry Theres a f****n surprise! I used to work for the twat years ago, never had any cash then so he must be well up to his neck in debt by now! Always trying to live up to his posh mates spending!

  22. First frosts were weeks ago here in swindon! You must be a late riser Pike have been feeding better for a few weeks too, had 4 on sat afternoon in the space of 30 mins between 4 and 20lb 3oz! Plenty jacks and half decent pike around though. Still plenty weed around but a shallow fished float solves that problem.
  23. Assuming it's a young bird! If not it's gonna bend the fork!! Slow cooker for geese unless they are a young un.
  24. You aint hitting them right! The noise is the pellets passing through the wing feathers. No doubt you were aiming at the body of the geese, classic mistake Shoot the snipe infront of the goose is what i was always taught, ie the head, that will bring them down
  25. Walk it on concrete, that should trim the nails as it walks.
