    Hi people I am planning building a custom rifle in 6.5X47 Lapua and was thinking of building it on a Batt or Alpine action and was wondering on everyones opinions on these or whether I am better just to try an get an old knackered remmington and having that action blueprinted? Thanks

    I have tried loads of different boots on the hill as its all i wear everyday and can honestly say i cant see past meindls. The diotto were good when the first pairs came out and seem to be too soft and fall apart now, Mouflon plus boots are amazingly comfy but again fell apart after less than a year so now I use meindl glockners with supafeet insoles and to me is the ultimate combination! I still use my first pair of glockners for heather burning and they still hold water out after three grouse seasons and two burning seasons cant say fairer than that!

    Your swazi will be a good jacket with a good pair of tweeds, gaitors and i cant see past meindl boots. If its going to be wet (its scotland its more than likely!) take a look at the waterproof mock tweeds by nomad or musto to keep you dry on any long crawls.

    I've been through probably 2500-3000 of the blue tipped hornadys and havnt had any problems and find they perform well.

    Hi I have recently started reloading and was wondering if I should get a tumbler or an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning my brass as its pretty much the last bit of kit i need to get! What are the pros and cons of each one? Thanks for any help

    Im not a fan of boresnakes at all they arnt anywhere as effective at removing copper fouling etc and if it happens to snap off inside the barrel the rifle is preyy much buggered!

    Hi we are planning getting 3 new quads in the next couple of months and have narrowed the choice down between the Honda Fourtrax 420, the Suzuki 400 Kingquad or the 500 Kingquad with the power steering. Just wondering if anyone had experience of any of these bikes and what you thought of them. Obviously they will spend most of their lives on the hill with occasional road miles. They wont be towing virtually at all and only have to carry a boy, traps, snares, and his guns and maybe a couple of terriers! Cost isnt a huge issue as its not coming out my pocket! Any opinions would be great

    HI does anyone have any opinions on whether the barryvox element box is just as good as the pulse and its not worth spending the extra cash or not? Also ive seen in some threads that someone on here sells the barryvox boxes cos i dont really fancy the look of the new B+F boxes It will be used with a B+F collar Many thanks for anyones help or advice

    Perfect thanks for the help mate can I ask did u buy the XGT light with the internal balasts or the standard HID light and mount the ballast elsewhere? How do you find the light overall?

    Hi has anyone on here ever wired a dimmer switch into a roof mounted lightforce lamp as i was looking at fitting one to my blitz and wondered how to do it? What type of switch is best to use, how many connections does in need on the back where in the line its wired in etc? any help wud be much appreciated

    Girls getting raped as an horendous crime carried out by anyone regardless of ethenticity or faith but organised muslim gangs focussing on drugging and abusing young girls is a whole other matter! This country has gone to the f*****g dogs i garuntee a gamekeeper would get a harsher sentence for killing a protected species to save his livlihood than these sick fuckers would get! Im only glad they arnt an issue up here yet maybe its too cold and wet for them!     Cheers for the reply mate i was just wondering if with the 3 sizes are they identical apart from the reflecter ie. if you had a striker and put a blitz reflecter housing on it would the light then be identical to if you just bought a blitz?

    Hi can anyone if all the workings of the three sizes of lightforce lamps (lance, striker and blitz) are the same and its just the size and shape of reflecter that changes the beam?

    Can anyone reccomend a good ultrasonic cleaner as i see they can cost between £6 and £300 so what is required as there is no point in getting something overkill but u need it to do the job as well!? Thanks fellas

    Minox are a bloody good set of bino's of the money mate i think they might be up to the £250 mark depending on model but I would say they are about as good as you get without shelling out for the likes of Swarovski, leica or zeiss.
