how many of u were digging laim they couldnt be up to much or ur not taking the right gear with u if it took u 8 hours to dig 7 foot or is this another jackanory story its funny how ur freinds with fatman cos he prone to a porkie to lol I thought we done pretty well considering we had fourteen lads digging and only three dogs to ground.Im only learning as i go along ive learned bits and pieces from this site so any advice would be much appreciated. useing 3 dogs is not to clever they could get hurt .........i always use 5 or more just to keep them wining hope this info helps

It depends entirely on your abilities, your dedication, the game on the ground, the environmental conditions, the ground you are running, the dogs abilities, the dogs technique. how many would you be happy with a dog to do say twice a week on its own personally iv had my collie cross kill a couple of foxes on a sunday and if i thought he wasn able another one id put him back in the trailor but he just doesnt give in and id have him back out lampin a few night later.Sayin that i have seen fox dogs kill maybe 2 and they have taking too much stick to give them another one .All dogs are different i suppose ive had dogs do 1 and not be fit for another ..........ive had one do 4 but be laid up for weeks..........and ive had others that will take 1.2.3.one night then

11 foxes is a good number but 5 with one is alot better so two good dogs run on there own could acount for 11
