as said and what quarry u use to run there up the beck from me earsdon way there building a big housing estate n put in bypass u now have to cross use to hold some decent rabbit numbers u see them running around the foundations of the new houses now got to go a bit further now to get to the fields for some sport when will it end atb paul

a lad who bought a couple of ferret kits off me in the summer is wanting to get his first lurcher to do a bit ferreting lamping what cross would u advise i would say collie cross grey r whippet . i run a full whippet but wouldnt recomend a pure sighthound for a beginner thought i would throw it open any ideas . alb

was ferreting turn of the year after the snow last christmas found 5 lying dead in the melting snow around there bury and others scattred around lets hope its not as bad this year . gód hunting all

talking to a farmer the other day while out ferreting he rekons someone down south has got done for spreading it anyone else heard this or similar diddnt seem as many on my permission got 8 but there was one at side of the road with mixy like . long live the rabbit

welcome mate had same problem with me whippet pulling still does it a bit and he.s 4 now try to when he pulls stand still till he calms down then walk on keep stopping everytime he pulls might take a while its a bit of a carry on but if it helps might make your trip out a little less stressfull hope it helps atb

good stuff have u tried him on the lamp yet i own a whippet like but he seems to be picking up lots of little niggles at moment ive always fancied a little beddy lurcher

chears . took him ferreting for the first time yesterday and he picked it up realy quick. well pleased with him.

what they like first crosses on lamp mainly can give me the good and bad advice would be helpfull i work all kinds of ground from rough to golf courses just wanting to know what they r like as lamp dogs

hello guys i own a working whippet had to have his outside toe on front leg amputated anyone had this problem and did the dog still do the job
