    That's the thing whin I don't run mine on massive fields mostly hilly terrain small sheep fields thay do well on this stuff just like a sprinter don't get any skinny 100 m runners do you but I don't think mine would do well on big open land tbh I need a dog that can handle all game and get the job done quickly and efficiently and that suit me down to the ground atb chris

    I did forget to mention that bird no good on daytime hares but no probes on lamped I've now gone for a colli x bull grey dh just to try something different but I do like an out and out bull x perhaps this new dog will open up my mind to something else who knows but I'll give it a shot anyway atb donk

    Disagree mate if you get the right one as with every cross thay can turn and hover up rabbits no probs not dogs for 30 /40 runs a night but a good fit one will take any quarry you throw at it on lamp atb donk

    How is it stamina wise I've got an 1/2 cross bull grey and although full on it wouldent go all night good for about 20 of runs after that slows up

    this was a saluki grey sire over a english bull dam and i saw the dam today she was a full on beast hes got about 6 down there he breeds them

    My sentiments exactly Brian that's what I was getting at we haven't all got the game to have one dog for one job no doubt this dog can kill but where I'm from need allrounder hense that's why we bred Lurchers in the beginning isn't it?

    Yes mate it was carra she was exelent on bunnies but never seen her on anything else plus she retrieves to the gun verry handy dog really impressed with her atb donk
