Hi What are your thoughts on Chocolate Labs in the field, I have been told that they are not as good and harder to train that the usual Black,Yellow or Fox Red but I dont think there would be any difference really . I must say I dont see many working Chocolate labs in my neck of the woods, Any comment please?

What cleaning rod for the .17HMR?
Sion Blewyn Coch replied to LordGamebore's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Hi I have a 3 piece rod by KleenBore I find it great you will find then on the internet. Cheers -
Hi Matt I shoot quite a lot of clays and the way to get my barrels spotless is by putting my cleaning rod and a bronze brush in the chuck of my electric drill and on a slow speed for a few minutes then cleaning with kitchen towels until they come through clean then thin film oil with mop. Use a good gun grease on the knuckles of the action and foreend and any other moving parts, I have been doing this for the last 45 years without any problems.

mossberg .410 pump
Sion Blewyn Coch replied to lee8375dogs's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Hi I have shot one a few times and I thought it was very quite and very nice gun I would describe the shot as someone hitting a nail with a hammer, I used it on clays as well and it was dusting them very well with 3" catridges. -
Hi All I have been thinking about putting a small heater in the kennel where I house my Spaniels a Cocker and Springer Last year I felt that after a days working and travelling home that some heating in the kennel would help in especially cold weather, What are your thoughts?
