  5. As Far as im aware you have to live where the guns are stored as no one else is ment to have access to the cabinet, even if they dont have the keys it wouldnt take a genius to work out how to get into one! might be worth ringing B.A.S.C as they will no the law regarding this, Good Luck
  6. I have several Rifles all with Swarovski's and leupolds but I used a Weaver Extreme Classic 2.5-10 x 56 In the week mounted on a .308 and it was floorless, they come with the german #4 Reticule iluminated reticule 30mm tube and a clean matte finish. £512!! I have always been very particular with my scopes and would have never considered buying any other scopes than Swarovski's and Leupolds but the Weaver is a very good scope for the money and well ive bought one to put on my Steyr Pro hunter mountain mkII .308
  7. Yep, there isn't much for her to eat in the immediate area unless it's food I put out, problem is I'll be attracting the badgers and foxes too. Might be worth trying this but its upto you and that is by putting a few live catch (rat/squirrel) traps out with some meat or rabbit in around the area,if it gets hungry it might go in them!
  8. Yeah cycles light loads no problems because its a pump action we the shooter are cycling the action rather than semi auto's solely rely on the action to be cycled by the recoil and gas compression of the fired cartridge, i have a fabarm lion semi auto and if i use28gram cartridges it very rarely cycles . any way ive had the 870 for about 13 years now and my dad had it before me so there built to last!!
  9. I use to use and swear by the Remi 870's when out wildfowling. Good solid reliable guns and on numerous times i dropped it in the mud and it still peformed. never had any problems cycling cartridges or anything!
