  8. Hi all, Been experimenting recently with making a nets out of diff materials I have had laying around. but am now going to spend some hard earned cash, so I want to be buying the best stuff. What are your opinions of spun nylon for rabbit pursenets? this is the material i want to start using in earnest to prepare a large amount of nets over the summer. your thoughts would be greatly appreciated, going to place an order on friday. thanks, G

  13. Hi All, I had a search on here and only found one topic about longnetting hares, which didn't cover experiences, advice or definite legality. so I have started this thread. I am very interested to know if 1, it is legal to set long nets and beat hares into them (no dogs involved for obvious reasons). And 2, has anyone on here caught hares this way. If so, is it productive and would you be prepared to share your experiences. It is something I would dearly like to try, all being legal and on permission. I have seen Hares nets available so I guess it was ok at one time. all t

  15. ideal rabbit dog but not suited to catching rabbit on the lamp??? What do you mean? I think the guy missed out a comma, i guess what he is saying is it's not suitable for the work he is doing, but the dog is catching rabbits on the lamp at present. but maybe he will clear it up. sounds a nice dog though.
