  6. hi mate it is very common in captive bred animals our reindeer and fallow had it what you need is to deosect them that will stop the spread and cure the problem
  7. hi mate she will start to make a nest be a bit more grumpy and she will also start to drag other jills back to the nest keep an eye on her as she will also lose a wee bit hair when did she get mated ? also has she developed a belly also make sure she has enough food hope this helps cheers paul

  9. gents same as here saw a buck last night 180 ish yards called him and all he did was stand and look so took him any way think it wont be long though

  12. its a herd bit of ground to stalk aye but its enough for me im not greedy it gives me the odd buck and plenty of fox so i am happy and its a bit i can call my own got it from a good friend who has more ground than he knows what to do with lol na he manages the hole lot perfect

  14. hi all was just looking in the stalking directory and alot of people all over the country saying the rut has started any one else seen any thing ????? cant wait my first rut bring it on.
  15. gents wow all i can say personally i think the shot was recless however it was his decition to make it as wee all make the decition to take the shot all my quarry i try to make sure i kill them clean and swift and would not dare take a shot i dont have the experiance nor the set up i do however say fair play and good shooting recless but wow i love the thrill of my sport and think all quarry deserves respect just my opinion i see alot of experianced people on here with a lot of experiance and i am with john robbo much respect for the guy
  16. went on to my permission at 1850, nd parkedthe car up.Ppped my sighn in the window to say whos car it was and started to glass the area,nothing moving so i walked round the corner glassing every new bit as it came into view.moved up the banking and glassed again and then i saw her my friendly doe,she was a good 150yards away so i got into a sitting position and watched her for a while.to see if a buck was with her sat for half an hour watching her till she disapered into some willow. i then from whear i was glassed all round and then saw another doe a good 200 250 yards away,and then i noticed

  18. hi all well im afraid it was a bland day infact the last three have been morning and night no deer at all my question to any body who may have the answer my ground is mainly open land with one large forest on it forestry commision however the is a large 300 to 400 yard slope on the edge of the forest wich is on my land mainly heather and grass water course next to it i have done my reccy and have seen some frying cant see any slots as its grass would a buck fraying just cause its near his ground the plantation is mature and the only other open spaces are in the wood a good 200 yards from the s
