Wanted help !wanted bsa airsporter cylinder and barrel
Tiddler66 replied to bollin's topic in Gun's and Rifle's
You can try here... http://www.airgunspares.com/store/ John Knibbs does have an enormous stock of parts, but it will cost.... and he may only send it to a RFD at your cost. or if you are looking at a cheaper possible solution, Call John Knibbs, he is very knowlegable and ask if the other BSA barrels are soft soldered into their breech blocks....if they are, get your self any BSA barrel from the same period, and just heat it up, seperate the barrel from the block ...then split your air sporter in the same way, and just put the new barrel in to the old cylinder, and heat them up. Wanted help !wanted bsa airsporter cylinder and barrel
Tiddler66 replied to bollin's topic in Gun's and Rifle's
Hi Bollin, I was once given a dead airsporter to play with where someone had seperated the cylinder and barrel.....My barrel was soft soldered in. Not brazed.........not difficult to replace except you then have to reblue the barrel and cylinder. -
Wanted: Does anyone have a 9 gun cabinet suitable for scoped rifles, that they wish to get rid of? I would also prefer one with a lockable internal ammo compartment. Cash or swap? I would prefer it to be in Wales, but I am willing to travel or pay a courier for the right one.

The gun is an Italian hammerless single barrel folding 410 non ejector. 3" chamber and 27 3/4" barrel made by Rodacciai. Its not mint and the safety doesn't work and the blueing and the stock look like they are 30 years old..... but... the bore is perfect and free from pitting and its very tight on face so would make a great garden gun or kids gun. Now looking for only £55. Email me for further pictures. SG cert required, Face to face only. Carmarthenshire, South Wales.

Why are BASC so rubbish
Tiddler66 replied to Tiddler66's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
Much of what BASC do is great.....their Firearms Department is second to none. But outside of a forum like this, there is no where that I can say how I feel towards BASC. BASC do not always act in a way that I feel that I can support. It is my belief that they have forgotten that its the ordainary punter that gives them the money and so they should represent their views. The only real leverage I have is to deprive them of that money. And I am glad to see that I am not alone in being frustrated by BASC. (well not glad but you know what I mean) I am worried t -
Why are BASC so rubbish
Tiddler66 replied to Tiddler66's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
I take it that i am in a minority of one then? Why is it when I speak to real country men, none of them have a good word to say about BASC. (PS The firearms department is very helpfull indeed) -

Why are BASC so rubbish
Tiddler66 replied to Tiddler66's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
I may well do that "Shotup", its just to my mind, the only way I can demonstrate my anger with their policies is to remove my funding, and to give it to any organisation that understands that its there to represent my views........not do what it wants to do. -
Is it me or has anyone else had enough of BASC……..they tell us that they are fighting for shooting…They are spending enough of our money, trying to convince us that they are doing a good job fighting for we shooters. It is a shame that they could not put as much energy into actually supporting what we the rank and file members want…but how exactly are they doing this? By taking a contract from the “Wildfowl & Wetlands trust!!! Why are they undertaking work from the very people who are trying to impose a lead ban?……and how do they conduct their survey?…..by buying wildfo

Nice gun scarecrow, how much for a straight sale?

Would that stock fit a CZ Brno Mod2e in .22?

If you are looking to just work the dog, you probably couldn't go far wrong with beating on a shoot.....but remember you have a right to own a shotgun.....unless the police can prove you shouldn't have one....It sounds like a complicated process, but its not really.....It will cost you £50 and about £100 for the cabinet.....but you can start off with a cheap gun (less than £100) and trade up later if you want?
