  1. I think its great too see something different out doing the job. But i suppose if they where as good as say springers they wouldn't be rare.not knocking them or people that have them i just feel they would be less useful than a cocker or springer
  2. Seen both mate. Beating on pheasant +partridge shoots.brittany where more lively and agile.clumbers lovely steady easy going but had to be lifted into beaters wagon ect. Both great breeds.also seen a sussex spaniel which i think is a real smart dog
  3. http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/1287878-very-rare-in-uk-charcoal-labrador-bitch-puppy-london.html they come in charcoal also lol
  4. Its wrong when normal working people spend everyday slaving our nuts off just to survive and some folks are churning out skanky Pups and have enough from a litter for a deposit on a house. They not even good quality. Look at the time and money people put into gundog trials and you could have 3 champion Pups plus change from a champagne one.(even though its yellow )
  5. http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/1343024-a-very-cute-rare-champagne-labrador-puppy-london.html First of all what a joke and second its just normal yellow lab colour. Unbelievable

    Beer

anyone headed to Kent beer festival in Canterbury next week ?
  12. I've basically just been having her out with me around the farm all day.so from 6.30 in the morning until 8 at night she's constantly just plodding around all day.so that combined with a diet should shift a bit of blubber until she can run with the rest behind the truck ect
  13. that looks like a dog skull to me
  14. ok so shes 18inch tts.and a grand total of 24 kilos!the breed standard is 15-22kgs.so if we went in the middle and said 18kgs target weight roughly shes gotta shed 6kgs! doesn't sound like much but if it was me having to loose 6stone that's quite a big task !
  15. thanks i will get her some.i have been giving her the Same food she's used too but less. she's a good working dog by all accounts but the guy just had no work for her and she's been in kennel just gaining for the last year or so.took a few pictures so i can do a before and after once she better

  18. i have taken on a seriously fat dog.like a barrel. i am upping the exercise but diet wise am i better to feed lean meat or small amounts of dry food. i didnt make her fat and am wanting to get her in shape as quick as possible.many thanks.
  19. I kept AB'S for 15yrs starting in the late 90s.If you get a good one they make a very good dog but unfortunately I'd go as far as saying 90% of what's being bred is pure shit with some kind of health or temperament issues.Wifes had 2 ,I reckon your 100 percent spot on, temperament is what should be considered not looks. Loads of twitchy Bulldogs around. Same could be said with rotties as well I reckon. Some of the spitz breeds as well make good guard dogs. i think we have just been lucky with him to be honest and i doubt i would rush to get another one after he's gone.he's devoted to my kid
  20. American bulldog for me. he's like a lamb with the kids and other dogs.never put a foot wrong .brilliant guard dog.not just bark at anything and everything.none of my mates will come in the yard till i promise he's away.
