    The 1st one you suggested is a pile of crap, he has 11 of them for sale and sold one, have a look at the one he sold , click on 1 sold Cheap but does the job eBay item number: 370963293224 and under a tenner I have one of these for under £10 its a white light and its good for finding stuff that's shot, on a tight beam it goes out to 150 yards + Not always the case but it most cases your are right.

    Much better price than the UK but i got mine from here http://www.dereelight.com/xseacher.htm it does say at the bottom of the page But i just ordered and paid by PayPal , got charged £4.95 for $210 worth of bits & bobs ,received it 7 days later, all i would say is do it quick as i think the door will close when Dereelight uk here about it. Must say one of the best torches i've used and with the ir850 pill its unbelievable Says at the bottom of the page 'we do not ship to the UK' Yep its say that but a friend just did it so i done the same and received it within a week, i do be

    Ian i use a pvs-14 but use a digital system on a screen in my 4x4 for spotting and yes the pvs-14 is the dogs but as a spotter the digital unit wired to a screen is the dogs aswell, i don't like digital units that i have to put to my eye too as it gives me a headache , its like watching TV a foot away from the screen, the digital needs more IR to get distance which the pvs- 14 doesn't but the pvs-14 is a lot more expensive. As for the camera board its down to where it was purchased, as i said i know two people that do development work on digital units and some of the camera boards they get

    I think there is a lot of people sitting on the fence waiting for a review on the New Arrow digital unit, it's like most things, digital units have been flooding the market by companies and every one needs to do the same, personally I don't think its going to be any better than what's out there already , I know of two people in the UK that do a lot of developing work on digital units and if this Arrow was something special their would know, but anyone can be wrong and it is possible for the Arrow to be all what starlight have said and more.

    just to spot I think. It's for 17hmr and 243 So i take it you are wanting to spot at 150/200 yards and call the fox into a shooting range ie: 100yrds, if this is the case most NV at the price you quoted will give you eye shine and more at them distances, if you are confident to shoot at around the 100 yard mark there is a lot on the market, 1st you need to decide what you want, a dedicated scope or an add-on, then decide if you want digital or tube unit. If you go down the add-on route you will need a scope with side parallax something like a 4-18x56 also a DSA to attach the add-on to the

    Just ask your FEO and put in for a .22 barrel that way you can have both, there is a few rifles you can buy that have two or three different calibre barrels on the same action.
