  1. It will work well but not as good as the laser, it depends on how far you wish to view and shoot.
  2. dogvixen01, The nikko sterling nighteater 4-16x50 works well
  3. Andy don't get the yukon ranger pro just get the yukon ranger and buy an ir laser, works out cheaper, both very similar but the pro has a better IR but not as good as a N1000ap yukon ranger around £300 + IR laser N1000ap around £115 total £415 yukon ranger pro around £550
  4. What the insurance like on the Forester ?
  5. As it an add-on i think he has mounted the laser low and this is why the laser is bounding back off the silencer so need to mount it higher, so the neoprene cover won't do the job but if you are getting a reflection off the silencer this is the way to go
  6. remount the illuminator using a high scope mount fit it upside down on the scope and attach the illuminator
  7. Most gen 1 dedicated scopes with a ir laser will be good for around yards
  8. Looking at his posts i think he is in harrogate north yorshire well cheap got to be the bargain of the year

  10. If you are going to pay £1950 for gen 2 you might as well pay £2350 for gen 3 and have the best the jump between gen 1 to gen2 is very good and if you are putting it on a rifle that can shoot past the 100 yards mark it will need to be gen2 or gen3. Most gen1 image intensifier tube are like a light bulb which can break quite easily but gen 2 & 3 have a resin around the image intensifier tube which make them much more robust. Also if you but a gen3 unit you will get most of your money back, same if you buy a good second hand gen2 , if you buy new the £1950 you pay out will only return
  11. Jack is there a particular reason you are going for a ir lamp over the ir laser, i have both but when walking aways use the laser and most of the time when shooting off the truck i still use the laser, the lamp is good when i am viewing an area for a long time and wish to illuminate a large area while using a NV spotting scope. Price - Lightforce 170 + filter around £200 + £25 battery ir Laser £115 to £145 Pestcotrol do you prefer the the ir lazer to night vision if so which lazer do you recomend. airbourne i don't really understand your question as the ir laser is no good withou

  20. Can anyone give me a rough idea what my land rover 110 is worth, its a 1989 and has a 2.5 N/A engine, lots of history, MOT & Taxed, mileage is around 160,000 but its had a full engine and chassis rebuild at 81450 miles, i have 99% of the MOT's and thousands of pounds worth of receipts and the roof has a shooting hatch as seen in photo, two front seats and a side bench seat with safty belts in the back, its not the prettiest land rover as it could do with a respray but it is a shooting wagon. Need a price for a quick sale as i have access to another 4x4 so any advice would be appreciated
