  1. I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination but from what I can gather it doesn't work like that as the pups can swing towards one side of the cross rather than it being exact 50:50 (if you know what I mean?). So these pups could come out more on the bull side, or more on the grey side, or more like a collie than you'd expect from this cross....so I guess it depends on the individual pup. Don't see what difference the exact percentage makes to be honest. But, like I say, I'm fairly new to all this, that's what I understand from what other more experienced people have said though.
  2. Anyone got any pics of 1st x border collie/greyhound?
  3. that's brilliant, what a nickname to have!!
  4. You'd be surprised how quickly they can bounce back, when mine was 12 weeks old my 46kg mastiff cross was running in the garden and the pup legged it into the front of him and he fell full weight on top of the pup, she squealed her head off and you couldn't even touch her shoulder without her screaching. I took her to emergency vets who gave her pain killer and she went to sleep, she kept waking up squealing but then next day was walking about and day after was running, I rested her in cage for a week but she was perfectly fine. Fingers crossed yours has same outcome!
  5. Ha ha! I hadn't thought of that! Maybe he's actually a proper hero and he catches rabbits on his suzuki
  6. Was just looking at some posts on the greyhound section and saw this, read the post towards the bottom...possibly the most bizarre post ever on THL...well funny! http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/108756-how-fast/

  8. strong lookin beddy that one!
  9. you should definitely complain about that first one, he knew where you were going and had seen your written permission and yet still stopped you again, that's got to be police harrassment surely!
  10. nice one, got any pics of them all? sound like a right rabble! I do like russels, do they not try and snatch the bunnys from the lurchers though or have you trained them not to?
  11. nice little dog! sounds like he's doing the business aswell
  12. Just wondering what people are using for bushing to lurchers, whatever you're using (terriers/spaniels/mongrels etc) how good are they and do you have any pics to post?
  13. Nice dogs by the way. What are they like in cover?
  14. why look at the thread then? quite obvious what it was about by the title.
  15. Anyone working them? How do they compare to beddys/patterdales etc? Pics would be good.
  16. That big pup is a right bruiser!! She's about 20-21 inches tts, filling out quite nicely aswell now. She's still a right little character, very obedient most of the time and she's also showing a lot of interest when out, can't wait to get her going properly next season! You must be well proud of this litter, they're all belting dogs by the look of it, nice one
  17. Mine has raw chicken and beef, porridge, egg whites, natural yoghurt mixed with veg, fish, brown rice. I never give mine dog food, you never know what shite meat and other stuff they put in it. Rob
