    OK so here goes, I'll explain in as much detail as I can without becoming crude or vulgar.... As all blokes know, when they go and have a sit on the throne two or three times a day it's a nice time to reflect on a few thoughts, get a little peace, read an interesting publication FHM/Maxim etc. or, as modern day technology now allows, visit one's favourite websites by way of a mobile phone.     Makes me laugh when people say cat owners don't care about their cats cos they let them roam. Its cruel to keep a cat stuck in a house, they should be roaming, its what they do. But when you own a cat you're aware of the dangers whether it be cars or dogs, a streetwise cat will survive, a dumb ass one won't. As has been said, a cat means as much to the owner as your dog does to you. Back your car over it and leave it on the road outside their house so they think its been run over, at least they know then. I had a dog go missing once, nothing worse than not knowing what happened!

    Is it OK to give dogs peanuts? I mean the type you put in bird feeders, not salted or anything like that. I've just discovered mine has a liking for them but I'm not sure if they cause bloating or anything like that?

    on a similar subject, does anyone give their dogs glucosamine? and if given from an early age does anyone know if its effective in helping to prevent joint problems later in life? I gave it to my old dog but only once he already had problems, it did seem to make him more mobile but I'm wondering if it'd be good as a preventative measure?
