I've driven to Marseille and to Poland twice, neither are quite as far as benidorm but they're not far off, about 100 miles less. To be honest with you mate, loads of people say you must be mental driving that far but as long as you're prepared it's actually quite a good experience. When I went to Marseille I was with someone else who drives so she drove for about 2 hours half way there while I had a kip, on the way back I got so wired up with coffee I drove for a continuous 24 hours only stopping for fuel and the ferry, driving through Paris at midnight completely buzzin on caffiene is abso

to be honest mate, and don't think I'm being patronising here....but if you don't know whether a lurcher or whippet could work alongside ferrets you need to do a hell of a lot more research Might be worth trying to tag along with someone who's got a whippet or lurcher just to see what they're like, see if they're for you.

You're right, you don't NEED a dog, but he probably wants one....and it depends how he's going to be doing it. This will be my dogs first season and I'll be using the nets as little as possible, just letting her catch the bolters.

Other thing is , getting a pup, can you put in the time early on, as you can't leave a pup a lone in a flat all day, ir needs feeding an walks during the day a number of times, let alone the negative psychological aspect. All I meant was, if space is an issue and he can give it enough exercise, a whippet would be calm around the flat. If he's working all day and leaving it indoors it doesn't make any different if it's a flat or a house surely? that's an entirely different issue. as long as you had it out every day a whippet would probably be ideal, nice and calm etc. and don't take up much space, and ideal for ferreting.

No, don't get me wrong, if she didn't grow any taller I wouldn't be bothered. I was just under the impression that with such prominent knuckles they still have quite a bit of growing to do. It's nothing to do with her being rough coated, it feels prominent aswell.

about 23 tts I think, but there's a fair bit of variation in the litter, mine's the smallest at the minute and the next is 22" and I think the biggest is 26"
