I must admit fella, I had a little chuckle to myself when I saw you couldn't use the "emotions" I struggled rob. . . . . but i got the whippet to read it to me. Hey to me they are emotions, you know, happy, sad, angry and ninja. Ninja is definitely the best emotion....when I'm in the mood I drag my mrs to the bedroom and get ninja on her ass...she loves it

  4. I've driven to Marseille and to Poland twice, neither are quite as far as benidorm but they're not far off, about 100 miles less. To be honest with you mate, loads of people say you must be mental driving that far but as long as you're prepared it's actually quite a good experience. When I went to Marseille I was with someone else who drives so she drove for about 2 hours half way there while I had a kip, on the way back I got so wired up with coffee I drove for a continuous 24 hours only stopping for fuel and the ferry, driving through Paris at midnight completely buzzin on caffiene is abso

  15. to be honest mate, and don't think I'm being patronising here....but if you don't know whether a lurcher or whippet could work alongside ferrets you need to do a hell of a lot more research Might be worth trying to tag along with someone who's got a whippet or lurcher just to see what they're like, see if they're for you.

  17. You're right, you don't NEED a dog, but he probably wants one....and it depends how he's going to be doing it. This will be my dogs first season and I'll be using the nets as little as possible, just letting her catch the bolters.
  18. Calm??? Other thing is , getting a pup, can you put in the time early on, as you can't leave a pup a lone in a flat all day, ir needs feeding an walks during the day a number of times, let alone the negative psychological aspect. All I meant was, if space is an issue and he can give it enough exercise, a whippet would be calm around the flat. If he's working all day and leaving it indoors it doesn't make any different if it's a flat or a house surely? that's an entirely different issue. If he's working a normal working day, i.e. 9 to 5, and takes it for a decent long walk before and
  19. as long as you had it out every day a whippet would probably be ideal, nice and calm etc. and don't take up much space, and ideal for ferreting.
  20. What a load of bollocks. As has been stated ferrets have been used for centuaries. The oldest referance I can find for them is Stabo in his "Geographica" written in 9 BC describes how people of the Gymnesian Islands (present day Balearic Islands) breeding Libyan ferrets which they muzzled and sent into holes to bolt the rabbits. Gengis Khan was known to go ferreting. There are tapestries, drawings and paintings starting from the 12th century depicting ferreting with both polecat coloured ferrets and albino ferrets. Queen Mary’s Psalter written in the 14th centuary has drawings of
  21. No, don't get me wrong, if she didn't grow any taller I wouldn't be bothered. I was just under the impression that with such prominent knuckles they still have quite a bit of growing to do. It's nothing to do with her being rough coated, it feels prominent aswell.
  22. Nice kits fella! your missus is gonna be pissed when she finds out you've been wearing her bracelets again tho!
  23. about 23 tts I think, but there's a fair bit of variation in the litter, mine's the smallest at the minute and the next is 22" and I think the biggest is 26"
