    i use a small ultrafire 9v from ebay for about £30 with mounts and laser inc batteries , i was a bit sceptic at first but they really alright for a good 60meteres and pick up bunnys fine

    a lot of things depend on it mate like pellets, wind , pod as will take some doing standing , skill of shooter , but the gun in the right hands and everything well should be capable of doin single holes or there abouts

    cheers lads i went out tonight and zero my scope at 10yards bang on then at 30 yards and to my shock was bang on and is goin about 10mm into fence post from back of skirt so have a good few shots to make sure everything ok and off i go for a quick walk around golf course and spot a rabbit at 30yards take aim control breathing etc and crack of shot to see mr bunny just run off and watch the pellet drop short the rabbit was dead on the edge between the fair way and rought so paced it out and paced 31 yards so not bad guess at 30 yards ,so back to zero range and at 10 yards bang on but at 30 yard

    i have a prob as i think my bsa lightning .22is under power i was out the other night and took aim at a rabbit at 25 yards which i got but it did not drop straight away and the pellet hadnt even penatrated the skull but was shattered after this i went for a quick zero and i found that my sighting was way out at 30yards by maybe 5 inches down than normal , i am using accupells and normally drop bunnys with only a kick or 2 i then alteed my scope and found that my trajectory has changed completly i had it on a chrony a couple of weeks ago at 11.8 to 11.6ftlb and at 10yards was dead on the same a

    hi mate if you go on the hawke website and download the hawke chairgunpro which i sfree it will show you exactley what you need to know and you can look throught the different pellets etc and see what the ballistics are like and have a play with differetn fps etc then even see were abouts you should be aiming etc withthe mill dots and tells you how much ftlbs at what range you will be getting let me know how ya get on mate kev

    will do mate and will let you know how i get on does pod work with a springer or does the recoil effect the stability before the pellet leaves the gun just thinking about setting up gun on pod

    cheers will try some ideas at weekend got a couple of magpie decoys and borrowed some plastic eggs from my little girl , have heard that if you get a 10p and put it flat on the palm of ur hand then grip it with the palm of our hand making a gap underneath the 10p then using another 10p hit the centre of the 10p it does sound good but will have to see
