how much should i be looking to pay for a gun safe and what are the legal requirments its just i have been looking around and some dnt look like they very safe at all but still saying bs and police aproved , i have read they have to be attached to solid wall but what about the thickness of the safe and the lock does it have to be say 5 points or 7 etc and also the ammo safe inside the gun safe does this hae to be to a certain standard
-
i understand but i am thinking more if it bounces of something etc not just shooting into fresh air sorry i should of explained
-
its not so much how far away i can drop something but more of a safty question to as how far the round will travel if not hitting backdrop most of my quarry is going to be under 100yds so i think a .22lr would suit me fine i am going to keep doin as much research as possible before i jump into things and get written permission from the farmers i have permission from and then go from there what sort of price am i looking for ammo for a .22lr and is there a trajectory loop as in air rifles or is it vitually flat
-
so ideally for my quarry etc i should be looking at a .17hmr what is the max ranges with this cal for rabbits and what price range should i be looking at and what is average price of ammo sorry for all qs i just trying to weigh it all up and get a rough idea on price for everything cheers kev
-
it was mainly for rabbits but i do have quite a few muntjack around my area so prob could do with something a bit bigger at what distance will both cals travel its just i am thinking of back drop etc and suitible places i can shoot as i have a lot of permission but some is within a mile or so of houses and some is near a few country lanes again about a mile could some one give me the name of a good starting gun along with scope etc cabinet cheers kev

hi all i know i might get slated for this but here goes i used to do a lot of shooting with my bsa ultra and my super sport mk2 carbine but since then have sold them and am concentrating more on hunting with my hawk so i am only looking for a gun to put a few bunnys in freezer for ferrets and hawk during moult i have been looking at the b2 carbine as i can get a little kit for £40 which is gun bag scope pellets but was obc going to give it a once over and change seals etc but am wondering if it is worth doin and what power they are kicking out i am looking to drop rabbits at about 25 yds

its going to cost me approx 60 for the pair of them but have just found out that if you recieve housing benefit or something like that the pdsa do it for £10 each bargin but these 2 are house pets and are spoilt by the missis , i dnt think i am goin to bother with my female tho as she will be seperate anyway and have herd that it can make them fat and lazy due to lack of hormone release etc

these are the two hob brothers they follow on like lil dogs dnt think i goin to work them and i have there sister as well but no pics of her the poor lil guys are booked in for the snip in 8 week time . the mother was a white but with normal eyes and the father was polecat so far they all doin good and only one latch on to my missis but they only young so it dnt hurt yet lol,do any of you work hobs and do any of you prefer them to jils its just my jill seems a lot more active and wants to work rather then the 2 hobs which seem lazy
