    Provided you did a pukka job of putting it on. No creases and no gaps the it should be fine. I would give it a good wipe over with 0000 wire wool and thinners to ensure you have a good clean bonding surface for the tape. In all honesty it will look shite but importantly serve the purpose of protecting your metal work from further abuse! Did you have one that had been dipped or was that just the stock ?? Do you reckon I should try and blue it then fella ?? I've not really seen any that are taped.. Anyone with examples ??

    If I was not to re blue & went for the camo tape option, would the barrel deterioate under the tape ??

    Aye. I had a walk along the cliffs and onto the golf course and saw a few different critters.. Nice area to live .. Enjoyed that holiday,we went to Whitby too .. Driving about I thought the whole spot looked great for hunting..

    Regards to advice fella.. Some folks don't want spoon fed or their hand held but a few pointers can be helpful ie " certain dvds, books to buy or cheap traps to avoid.. In this section my knowledge & experience is limited but in other sections I'm happy to give geniuine people advice and thats what forums are about. Sharing knowledge/skills and meaningful discussion not bickering and belittling other induviduals..

    What's the best options to deal with rust/damage .. I'd left my air arms in the gun bag laying around (securely).. I've got it out today and to my dismay, it has a inch (ish) blob of rust on the main barrel and the bottle.. I'd rubbed it down with all in 1 oil I never had any wd40 handy . I then lightly tried to take the crust off with sponge scuorer it did and a bit of the bluing. Opinions? ??

    Thanks for tips hutch.. Ive not used them yet lol .. Was just initial enquiry should I just set them and see how I go or is there a basic tweak ?? Ive had resonable succsess with Sissor Traps and thought I should buy more traps.. Rather than limt myself to the sissor traps, I purchased 5 duffes and 5 talpex.. Im not mole catching on a big scales and its more favours and for my own entertainment.. Cheers Folks
