My opinion is ,the CA is the way forward. Possibly a club, however I hAve no ambition to start said club. To be honest I woukd not have a clue where to begin. I am on my phone. I can't get the statistics however, were the CA to appear empathetic and supportive of lurcher men & women. If 50% of the hunting life joined and paid membership, that would be a significant sum of money and swell in their ranks. JD your a man with a instant following and other high profile authors. I contacted them regarding their membership and the insurance cover. I was quite matter of fact about exempt hunting and potential grey areas.. They did not respond - I contacted the area rep regarding asking their advice or their interpretation of hunting hares with nets and dogs. I asked them where I stood flushing to a net.. They never responded. I contacted them via social media when it was the tenth anniversary of the last Waterloo cup and submitted photos of a trip to clonmel along with running dog photos. With the recent proposed Amendment going on hold & a few related posts and topics on here.. Its got me thinking and most likely a few others. I've touched upon the subject with some like minded friends, however I am unsure how it can and will all pan out.. I'd personally feel disappointed if, there was missed opportunities. I might not of captured the poll quite right .. If not, just share your views on the thread.. I've contacted The CA before and to be fair, I never received the response I wanted... Id have another crack and Id like to know how others feel

Some good points raised by Micky & Desert bred.. If there was such a lurcher club or sub group within the CA . I'd gladly listen, support men like yourself. If lurcher men had such a voice or where able to infltrate the ranks of the boardroom,surely lurcher work would potentially have a brighter future ?? I think the youth should be encouraged to do things the Wright way and with high profile roll models they might have a better chance. I was a young lad as we all have been. Ive used ACV in the past and thought it was neither here or there with dogs . I've got a bottle of white distilled vinegar and thought I woukd try some on the dogs feed. One dog does get a bit yeasty and reading up they reckon the vinger changes the dogs Ph levels and would reduce fungal bacteria. Dog gets brown dandruff and dirty lungs. It's on and off, but more on. Cheers .

I think chicken carcases have a far bit of fat in them.. I've cooked minced carcasses and they've been swimming with fat. Maybe shit mince lol .. Brest or thigh meat would maybe be better ?? Won't be much fat in fish..

I watched it. . Its sensationalised rubbish.. They make up what they don't know. At a guess nobody dug that badger or took it to a playing feild to rag it about.. I reckon it was had on the lamp and the no marks left the dog, because they could not get them apart. I ain't from Yorkshire but have had a few nights out ( on the drink) and seen loads of foxes and badgers in urban areas , when getting taxis back to the accommodation. These are the idiots than are damaging lawful lurcher & terrier work.
