Aye it's not been a great sunny summer but it's still warm and here we've not had much rain.. Dog done well .. Liked the vid ..
-
Good result fella.. Fancied a look out today but decided it was still to warm for me..
-
I'd agree with that and I am not old lol.. I enjoy more daytime these days and a bag full of rabbits on the lamp and a good night's sleep lol.. I've done them nights out till 5/6 and then done a 10 hour shift and back at it the next night.. Its harder than going to work..

Cheers mate worth a bash..

Hour and half does seem like bullshit but walked into a field the other night and it was like watership down it was heaving we had 13 rabbits walking no further than 50yds into a field in no time at all , walked a bit further and had another 7 then called it a night.Granted couple of dogs proper unfit but if they were fit and the rabbits were their who knows..I would be happy with that mate why go for more if there's no need to just spoils it or wastes it atb It's a difficult balance .. Some land you can take the cream again and again.. Other bits you could go back and it's gone and

It's very much like the bald thigh syndrome. It's maybe not related to the intermittent dank dirty dundruff.. That's like a excess oils - build up.. I should of taken a picture when it peaked.. Its under control now Barr the baldness on rear legs & the mood.. The mood coinsided with first heat and being bullied.. She's that unhappy if another dig attempts to sniff her rear she will abruptly sit down. . She's super submissive and greets all dogs with practical belly crawl..

Bitch is over 3 and had her first signs of skin trouble, during her first and only menstruation. It flares up intermittently however appears fine at present. Current diet tripe, lamb bones & cuts , odd bit of fish and oils. I did also give her dorwest detox tables.. I've done similar before and it's difficult to assertain what actually clear it up.. I doubt it's thyroid or it would be consistent. It's difficult as her physical and psychological could be liked or just coinstance. . Hair loss on back of legs in also a new symptom. Skins clear & healthy,j

I may be wrong but have been lead to believe it aids the digestive system. Making gut more acidic? ? Is it not confirmed when testing ph in the urine ?? I don't think it the thyroid she's physically wellish (bar intermittent skin issues) and not flat.. She's just wary and compared the the others in the pack she's not the life and sole or the party.. Her ears are good at present. . The tips can become thicker & almost crusty. I might see how diet goes before investing in allergy tests & blood tests. Any other advice sandy? ?

I think my bitch gets some type of yeast or fungal infections.. Dirty coat, dirty lugs.. She is a bit nervous and is timid around the other dogs. . During play the others seem to pick on her and she can't stand up for herself.. With this fear she hangs about our feet and is scared to run as the others start piling on her.. My mrs thinks it could be a thyroid but I am not with her on that.. She's a sulun type but that's changeable and she's has periods when mood is significantly brighter. When it's 1-1 or in the company of small playful types of hand bag dogs.. I'

I just fire it directly on to scran mate.

I worked as a chef years back and took pretty much everything going spare for my dogs. I took left overs . Mainly went for cooked veg greens carrots etc not spuds. Any meats from fat off a sirloin to half eaten fishes, chicken anything you could imagine. Only concern of mine was salt.. I used to rinse the food but a lot would go be absorbed in cooking process.. Dogs were bouncing and it saved a fortune. Now I go for barf and if I get caught short I woukd use a tin as a one off.. Mind a good ratch in Morrisons can often produce some decent meaty bones - offal -
-
Good stuff mate..
-
That's a thing DB raising the profile of legitimate hunting, could make permission an easier to obtain. Induviduals could be more credible being part of a recognised organisation.
-
Spams my tin of choice... I rather feed them stuff from morrisions mate they sell bones and offal. Time it right always knocked down gear in meat and fish section.

Yes mate. It came yesterday but I missed the postman. Collected it today. Really pleased with it mate thank you. Highly recommend these lads. For a cheap waterproof coat can't go wrong.

Different schools of thought.. Some folk reckon bigger dogs can take bigger knocks.. Age old say the bigger they are the harder they fall.. Surely on impact a bigger dogs weight to speed ratio is going stacking the odds against them. It's not just physical attributes that keep a dog right. It's down to its mentally in my opinion. I had one bitch that only had one foot injury really in her career, along with minor none major bumps and scrapes. Bred a pup from said bitch with same sire. (Father daughter mating) same ingredients produced similar physical stamp..

Hope so lol.. Had a trailer related incident lol.. Took some hedge out lol.. I am getting better..

True mate.. They will be aftertrapping, shooting, fishing. They might not stop until we are all vegans.. I don't mind if people don't agree with hunting and they don't want to do it.. They should in return respect my right to hunt and exercise my dogs.Doing what come instinctively to them.
-
Definitely some positive and great posts.. Be good if lads can vote & if there's anything I've missed or you feel it needs said don't hold back.. Maybe folk will feel more passionate and vocal,if there was something in their sights. Some of the members and guests won't read a running dog section. It's only been live slightly less than 24 hours. Thanks for the input and responses so far..

J how far did you get with these talks?? Who were the drivers and how viable were the purposed ideas?? Why was it such a clandestine approach? ? Surely a lurcher club would look for market research from potential members. To me the huntinglife life is a captive market for any proposed club.. J if you were so keen don't become deflated as Churchill said " Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm".

Giro, as I said ages ago, that was just an amendment NOT a repeal. We only have one go at a repeal, so we'd better make sure we'd win it. otherwise there is no point. People started getting confused with the amendment and a repeal, but they are two entirely different motions. The CA does support lurchers. But if anyone thinks they can wave a magic wand and overturn the ban they are deluded. It's a long and rocky uphill road. The only things that will help lurcherwork are unity and money. With due respect mate. I know the difference between a admednent & repeal.. I'd like to see both
