To be honest Alan if you think setting up a Facebook page about lurchers and a website and asking for £11 of someone's money to be a member is the way forward you must be mad it will not achieve anything at all.except someone out of pocket for £11.if you think it will can you tell me what you hope to achieve. 100,000 people demonstrated in London about poll tax and that did nothing. And you saying people using usernames.do you honestly expect people on here to use there real names.then post threads about there dogs/days out etc. So the dodgy folk among us can track them down via the Internet

This is a recent article written by Alan Tyer . Alan is the Chairman of the AWL , some may of read a more streamlined version in the Countrymans Weekly. The Association of Lurcher Clubs has been recognised as the governing body for lurcher/Longdog work since the mid-nineties. Working closely with the Countryside Alliance, we have fought many battles, first to try to stop the hunting ban and since the ban, to repeal an unjust law. The ALC and the CA worked together with other hunting associations to fight for ALL types of hunting. The Council of Hunting Associations (CHA

Most Consecutive Catches Of Rabbits On The Lamp
Giro replied to swg dave's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Some things just stick out in your mind.. After a good night's lamping, I struggle to sleep.. I'm still buzzing, could be the red bull mind lol I've got video reply in my head.. Things that stuck in my mind first catches day and night, biggest catches, times when someone else came along and times when disaster struck. Most folks (I used too, but don't now) take a picture of everything caught. That's bound to help the old grey matter lol.. -
Most Consecutive Catches Of Rabbits On The Lamp
Giro replied to swg dave's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I can't remember the exact figure.. My coursing bred bitch never missed a rabbit,on her first three lamping trips. Not big numbers. Something like 4,6,12 . It does fall back towards a numbers thing. The guys catching the big bags, won't miss many on a night out.. -
Wrong time of year for your recipe mate lol..
-
Easier to buy some spot on and a flea collar lol.. Mine ain't had fleas , old dogs got them as well had a lot of cats about.. Rabbit fleas are different to dog fleas , so I've been told anyway..
