If i wanted a greyhound pup not failed track dog where would i look? and what price would i expect to pay??? Dont wont one yet or mabie never will.. Was just thinking if i was to buy a pup at 8 weeks old and train it like a lurcher if it made the grade use it in a breeding programe. This is more just food for thought so all feed back welcome..

Personly i think Scrap these daft comps... Caught more in a night than the whole south and north heats have produced... Its hardly a compition if a dogs not even breaking sweat its a bad joke.. I think some folk might of well just burnt there £50 quid and still saved a furtune on fuel.

how do you figure that?? wont the dog still have to be fit?? its not going to hit every one on the seat!! If your dogs catching the odd rabbit here and there and you take it to good ground and think your walking away with 40 plus you will either be carrying your dog home or burying it. Dogs dont just hit big numbers by chance they are conditioned and worked hard regulary.

Duck wing when the collie cur beat "Blue" was it not a knock out senario?? and it beat by one rabbit?? I dont know just a tale I heard then on the way home blue knocked over a few hares?? feed mine 6 hours prior to lamping and feed again on returning home..

There your dogs/son the responsibilty lies with you.. you should not of let the lad take the dogs out imo if you had doubts.. Mabie its you who has learnt a lesson as much as the child.. If anything happened to my dogs i would blame myself i dont let anyone else walk or work my dogs.

Cheers for advice lads.... Woz whats the crack with the cherry diesel just chuck it down neat and it will kill evey thing??? I was reading up on some crazy american site you can make a solution of vinigar and salt and its really effective and will change the ph level in the soil rendering the soil none fertile is there some truth in this or is it just rubbish?? That round up is pricey but might save me more money in the long run as the cheap stuff from B and M bargins did not touch it really... Its just weeds consantly growing between my flag stones

Whats the strongest/ cheapest weed killer on the market??? I have used powerders mixed with water seemed to work but weeds grew back after a month or so. I wanna get some in now ready for the dry weather and keep on top of the yard..

Cant remember if it was or not... The gypsy and poacher Dvd was that a his breeding?? Dog looked poor on the dvd daytime ferreting.. Not knocking all deerhound crosses sure there is plenty good ones.. My pal had a deerxgrey x colliexgrey took eveything daytime hares the lot.

Cheers for info feed all sorts never gave pork before.. someone told me pork makes your dog shit for fun..just got loads of trotters 10p a go from butcher, big with plenty meat on them.. sure the dogs will tare into them.
