its a good book mate but its not that good have a bump on me Some of these cycber hunters would be errect while reading that book!! LoL Was first Darcy Book I have read, loads of hype about it had to have a read was well impressed, however I am the type of lad that only reads or watches a film once, hence the Re sale. Some brilliant pictures, book was well written with that build up of excitement that kept you keen,loads of facts and some great points of veiw from the writter. What would lads~lasses recomend for editing digital video from a camcorder on to PC and then to be able to compile best bits to produce short feildsports production ?? Any advice on this would be fantastic. Cheers in advance.

I run mine beside the bike a mile a day. I just used to let mine room the garden it was ferret proof in summer put water in tubs they even had a dip they loved it. Fecking terrier nailed them at that was the end of them

Would have to disagree with you on that one as a general rule of thumb.. My dogs and others I have seen when getting right into the numbers start getting tired, its easier for them to kill the rabbit and fetch it back rather than kicking a pulling. My dog fetchs to hand, alive most times however when shes right tired she will just bite the heads and carry them back. Various levels of ''hard mouthed'' some are ribs like black jelly dog food lol other would class a hard strike ie bit of brusing off the inital impact. I lent that to a lad once never got it back.. Is that the going rate? Had a signed clarrisa and the countryman that went walkabout too. Not a bad read that book,some good pictures to if I remember righty. One with a old fella with a fox on a lead sat on his shoulder ?

Touch wood none of mine have been half hearted or jacked however my pal aint been so lucky.. Some times its a two way street the handler fails the dog, sometimes its just not ment to be.. When folk talk about dogs not taking foxes I think that completely different to pulling up on hares or rabbits.. The dogs should want to chase eveything, be doing kartwheels on the lead.

LoL I never change the straw it lasts forever.. The dogs drag the odd bit out I just sweep it up and chuck it back in.. Mine are on a full bail each they nest around them is over two foot, super cosy. touch wood no ticks or lice.

2.8 whats been your best score up there?? My pal told me back in the 70 ~ 80s you could just roll up pay a farmer a fiver and ferret and get 60 plus in a afternoon. Was it just fit to burst in them days or was that pockets of rabbits in secluded places?? Different days now I imagine. I aint been but have been to places in northumberland ~ north penniens, where the rabbits where in good numbers they where easy compared to local rabbits I put this to them being very green and sitting tight most where short slips and had stone walls to bounce off. I also find fell type rabbits

Not to put the cats arse to the fire.. However lol .. I heard that a fella had said " if your dog can do 30 odd around here,it will do fifty in the Dales" Now I have never been, I hear mixed reviews. I would be pleased on the night If me dog caught what was avalible, if it was 5 hard golf course rabbits or 30 easy rabbits. When done fella.. Post again when you gan on a night with better conditions, let us know how you do..

Was the paddy Vid recent??? Biting the fellas ear is dirt . . Paddy gave a good accont of himself. I recon they jumped him, He was by himself was probly out jogging.

Run them between 6 and 9 mile. started off at 3 miles and built it up.. Not increased the distance but put a bit more pace into it lately. only do it a few times a week if I canny get them out for a run with the moon or frozen ground.

Walk them miles and run then along side the bike..
