My pal had a 3/4 shane bred 15/16 years ago.. Just looked like a greyhound had a wee pencil head but was game as anything and had lighting speed.. Caught plenty with him, poor dog died in kennel fight.

Bosun are the dogs that are kicking about in liverpool area rabbit and hare dogs or out and out fox dogs ?? I would say catching them hares on Altcar would of been a test for man and dog compared to up here in stone walled feilds.. Well lets just get it right... My white dogs at best a half minshaw its a collie cross in my eyes.. The younger ones 3/4 ish (minshaw) now it dosent matter if I called them poodle crosses they are grafting lurchers from good stock... When I sold my pups I bred them for me and my pal, I sold 3. Now I am more and sure the lads intrested in buying them wanted to know the history sire ~ dam. I was honest and Never sold these as 100% minshaw. They where advertised as lamping and ferreting dogs.. Now I dont mind what anyone calls there lurchers, its up to them. I sold two pups fo
