Dogs smashing into hedges for rabbits is waste of time Wont catch many when its laid up or worst burried with a broken neck... Got a dog hear nearly 4 thats done fook all really,because it cant stay injury free and its got shares in the local vets.. Clever dogs catch more rabbits putting pressure on and back of at the right times.. I dont want a dog to pull up at a hedge and I want it to work rabbits up and down a hedge, but I cant see the point in the dog steaming into hedge

Aye she would not break down and now dont fancy getting her jabbed she's my only runner so cant put her to pup. Going to bite the bullet and buy a pup, would mabie try her next year for a another pup.. Vin there is a litter in Newcastle 3/4 Grey 1/4 x Sauki Grey hound they are 10 days old today went had a look.. Seen both parents nice stamps.. Can PM the lads number if you want to have a chat with him. I am going to take one -

I was going to line my Collie cross with a Match dog... Bitch has not had a season since I Got a decent dog sorted... I Fancied a pup off Socks his first cross to a daytime dog but she never whelped But I will be getting a pup off a similar breeding sometime in the near future.. I wanted the cross because my bitch Hybrid collie mix dose not miss much on the lamp and is good daytime hunter finding and flushing game she just lacked a bit for those longer daytime runs. Dogs can take it 7 days a week.. Trotting next to a bike is fook all. Running rabbits in big numbers is asking to much but a five miler next to the bike is a warm up.. "Connected" so thats what getting dragged along by a bull cross is :laugh: Being "connected" is over rated, should try given them more road work, so the dog dont pull or even bother your arse to get some basic training in

Have amber,green and red ... Use the amber and green the most as they are 170 filters and my reds on 240.. Makes a canny differance sometimes using a filter. I do like green rabbits and not having to bother with a filter.

Cattle are to be respected and given a wide birth were possible.. I have no problems with Dairy cows, olde breeds (herefords,galloways) but have often been charged by young beef cattle. Its not always avoidable when shit hits the fan I let the dog make her own way, that woman died and old rover made it to the vets.. My sister got trampled as a young lass, was our own fault. As we approached cows with suckling calfs for a closer look,its given me a good healthy fear of cattle
