    I have only just managed to get a lass that will walk my dogs lol.. Definietly something for the future.. I recon on a day when there was not make about for the dogs a BOP would pull something out of the bag.. Was that a golden eagle that took the roe ?? Done that better than some lurchers,not a fence bounce in sight Anyone recommend any books for beginer ??

    I have a long way to go at 31.. I really think at the moment I would struggle. A fella at work retired and has got a Harris Hawk. So now I can get a better understanding of birds. The change in law also made me think, but you dont have to feed a net :laugh: I Guess I am in similar boat to yourself fella,trying to keep within the law. Also I enjoy the frill of the chase much more than a kill. I emagine it would really exciting watching a bird putting pressure on its quarry. Any more pictures vids of falcon hawks with prey ??

    Meaning you may get yours eyes opened with a different dog.. As a young lad I never owned lurchers and went out with friends( mostly being a pit pony) lol.. I always thought there dogs were amazing cause they caught rabbits.. But since owning my own dogs and mixing in different circles ,looking back these dogs would be below average.. None retrivers, hard mouthed and doubled up on anything bigger than a rabbit.. Your current dog only has to please yourself and that the really important bit,however 95% of lads on here would not even give it kennel space.. Your dogs limited.

    I recon if you get a purpose breed lurcher your current dog will be redundant in time.. It would not live with a decent one fella. You may say you wont favour the new one but when its filling the bag and catching more that the little dog,the worm would turn for me .. Anything from working lines will give you a higher percentage of getting a grafter that will fill the bag.. I dont love a rough coated lurcher however would consider a Deerhound~greyhound X collie ~ greyhound. My friend had one excellent dog that took everything day and night.. Your happy with your dog thats great,

    Yeah they aint for carring bricks about, perfect for nets.. Hope they send them.. sold about a ton in last couple of days.. I would not pay £20 for one like lol

    Dont know you dont get much for 3 pound these days.. Even cheap material sewen at home would have to cost more ?? From pictures looks ok .. I got one too

    Its with my dog comb, long gone :laugh: I could not have a minshaw over here you would wipe us out.. Been a bad season really lost a massive chunk of land, new keeper came and we lost land that not even got birds on. Its just part of the estate. These days been driving further a feild for smaller bags. You will have to get Moll to use her charms on the Scoth fella

    Excellent night.. I went a bit that way with the big nights and said I would of swaped them for a few good daytime spins and a dozen rabbits.. It is a sence of achivement mind, when you get a van full. All these "dales" rabbits, bla bla yeah but its getting a dog in good condition to hit them numbers. Must be some stock of rabbits we wiped farms out up here Was bit to greedy I am gonna get back in with the ferrets with a new pup on the sence and want to be doing more daytime.. Day walkers have it easy compared to lampers. Nice lie in and some breakfast get out wal

    I can if i am by myself and the grounds not lifting with rabbits.. If its busy and the dogs sees one moving in the beam shes off like a rocket.. I dont mind using a slip it has no bearing on what ends up in the bag
