    Massive specimen from Hertfordshire reservoir breaks previous best by an ounce. The perch record has been broken with a fish weighing a colossal 6lb 4oz. Caught by specimen angler Ken Brown from Wilstone reservoir on the Tring complex in Hertfordshire, the huge specimen betters the current record set in March this year by just a single ounce.     just wondering what every one will be putting in their lure box for this season. will you be sticking to an old favourite or purchasing some hot of the shelves lures that are out there now. personally i will be using my lucky mepps #7 and a few savage gear 4play hard lures but i have also just ordered from harrissportsmail.com some savage gear minnow kit and cannibal shads to try and get to the fish deep deep down. niall_b73

    to be honest i have not been out much this year. tho the times we have been out the catches are not the same. where i fish weed is playing a major part in fishing the spots that have always proved good in the past. tho the link below should shed some light on the subject: http://www.innyangli...et/August11.htm niall_b73
